My wife and I were looking for a place on the Hana side of the island, but not all the way down to Hana. We had heard that this was the more peaceful, quiet and non-commercial side of the island, but we had also heard that the drive to Hana, although beautiful, was difficult and there weren't a lot of...

"My mom, sister and I shared the lovely and private Whispering Bamboo cottage these past 9 days. The property is gorgeously lush, quiet, and peaceful, filled with tropical plants, trees, and flowers. A view of the ocean completes the setting. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and charming with all amenities. Caretaker Casey and property owner Anjali are lovely women, so...

This was my 5th time visiting Maui. Luckily i came to find out about this sanctuary. The pictures for the room, the view and the Meditation room got me hooked. And when I got there I felt the peace and quiete I was hoping to see. The hostess, KC, was fantastic. Welcoming, Friendly and energetic. I thoroughly enjoyed the morning...

We just returned from an 8 day Maui vacation. We spent 7 days in Kaanapali & had a ball. I wanted my husband to experience North Maui away from all the tourists & I'm so glad I found Maui Ocean Breezes in Haiku. It's a different world up there, unlike anything I've ever seen- a perfect escape to paradise. The...

I used to live in Hawaii and love to go back, but to stay away from the touristy areas. My wife and I went to Maui Ocean Breezes for a week and it was simply wonderful. No hotels, no crowds, perfectly quiet and lots or privacy. It is located about five miles from Haiku on the north shore of Maui...

Travelling to Maui for the first time this summer we wanted to stay on the "local" side of the Island. How lucky we were to book Maui Ocean Breezes---the perfect spot! Anjali was wonderful to book with and when our plane was delayed from Oahu, a quick call and we were told "not to worry", given excellent directions and told...

Firstly this is not by the beach, there is no resturants within walking distance, no noice (besides some birds and geckos). This is pure heaven for the soul. Maui Ocean Breeze is 15 miles from the airport towards Hana, 1/2 a mile from the main road slightly up in the mountains. The view from our room and the property is...

Thank you so much for taking the precious time to write this. Just wanted to note that perhaps on your next visit check out Haiku the "old pinapple cannery town " which is only a five min drive up the hill and full of charming local cafes like the Lilikoi Grill, Colleens, Hana Hou. Here you will mostly rub elbows...

And she baked banana bread for us, made smores for the kids, always brought fresh fruit and made coffee for us on our last morning. She was an angel and made...

Had to spend the first 5 days of our Maui trip at a resort for a conference unfortunately but were so exited to arrive at Maui Ocean Breezes and enjoy the natural beauty Maui has to offer. All of the wonderful comments about this place are true and the place is actually better than the pictures. We spent a glorious week in the Hibiscus Hideaway apartment and cooked most of our meals on premises. We really enjoyed the salt water pool, the meditation hut and looked forward to watching the birds on the lawn at breakfast time....
