This is where you want to end up for the night..... and really for three or four nights +!! After that long but beautiful drive, this is such a peaceful place. The restaurant is a 10. The rooms are large, but charming with magnificent views especially if you have one of the bungalows. The art gallery in the complex is...

My wife and I went to Hana for a long weekend. We both love the quietness of Hana and his beautiful nature. The Travaasa Hotel is located at the beachside. It is a nice still very local Hotel. We like that. We never had dinner at the hotel, but we hear it should be very good. We went outside the...

stayed here in the summer, great place. it is completely relaxing. When we go to Maui, we like to spend 4 days or so in Kaanapali and then 2-3 in Hana. Hamoa beach is great, Bamboo forest hike, and other things within a 1/2 hour. the beach is much closer.

The location of the Travassa Hana is fantastic. Lots to see and do in the area. Black sand beach, red sand beach, surfing, hiking, great for photograpy etc with stunning visuals....crashing waves and rugged lava shorelines with the beaches just minutes away. The property is wonderful. Nicely appointed rooms that are comfortable and functional but not pretentious. The pool that...

Very spa-like environment. Comfortable, elegant and relaxed. Nice view of the ocean and grounds. The food was okay but we loved the coconut cake and coffee. This is the lightest, most creamy, moist coconut cake we've ever had. It's worth the drive to Hana just for the cake.

This has to be one of the best settings for a resort. Remote Hana is what Hawaii was a century ago. You can hike, ride, bike, snorkel or (here's the unique part) happily do nothing but relax. A rarity in the 21st century. The Travaasa is lovely. Great bungalows. Beautiful pool. Spa. Nearby beach. It falls a bit short on...

My husband and I stayed in a garden suite to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The room was generous in size, huge bathroom with tub, very comfortable bed and lovely lanai with lounges. They even threw in a bottle of champagne and banana bread. My only criticism would be that it was quite dark during the day. In future I...

All of the staff at Travaasa Hana are amazing! The rooms, views, foods, experiences are fabulous. We experienced a beautiful sunrise, participated in a variety of activities, ate delicious foods, toured Hana, slept peacefully in a luxurious cottage and heard the ocean in our dreams. Thank you for having us and making our trip 5 Star. Looking forward to staring...

Bella is the new chef at the Travaasa hotel's restaurant. I know her name because our meal was delicious, presented well, unique in its use of local ingredients and prepared well, so I asked who the chef was. We all had different seafood dishes that were great. The drive out to Hana was fine. Do take your time. The ride...
