Incredible accommodations in the form of a Yurt! Everyone should try this at least once! There is only one for overnight stays available at Luana Spa Retreat, and the rates are very reasonable. There is a queen bed, very comfortable, a kitchenette with utensils, cookware, plates, etc., small fridge, microwave, toaster and cooktop and dining table. No hot water in...

We enjoyed our stay in the yurt, it was a nice alternative to a hotel room. We had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. I had the Luana lomi signature massage in the grass hale overlooking Hana Bay. Very relaxing.

We decided to do something different while we visited "The Road to Hana." Staying in a Yurt & having a couples massage over looking the water! What could be more romantic than that?? The yurt was so comfortable and had everything we needed to cook, sleep comfortably, and take a shower in the most amazing outdoor rain shower with luxurious...

Luana Spa Retreat offers a beautiful yurta located just off the main road. All facilites (tea, coffee, private en-suite) are available and our stay was pleasant. The only drawback, if really any, was the price, which is a little high - but Hana is a very expensive place.

We did not feel relaxed or even safe here due to a train horn and loudspeaker that were blaring for hours in a nearby ball field, and a group of people drinking and loitering in the parking lot directly below the yurt. This is in sharp contrast to the relaxing and serene appearance of the yurt overlooking the bay in...

Natalie and I stayed one night at Luana Spa Retreat in October. We had earlier decided we would do the road to Hana one way only in a day. That made the trip so much more relaxed, knowing, if any place we wanted to stop at on the way to Hana was too busy, we could stop on our return...

We stayed at the yurt as part of our honeymoon, which was great as the yurt is very private and has lovely views of the bay below. The yurt has all the plates, cups and utensils you would ever need, however there is only a portable cooker hob to cook with. This would be fine but as there is a...

This was my 4th visit to Luana Spa for their amazing massages. This time I booked an overnight in the yurt for 3 people. I paid the extra $25 and everything was provided for all of us Barry even brought us a rug for the front stoop and a citronella candle. It rained almost all night but we all had...

On our last visit to Maui, I decided I wanted to spend a couple of nights in Hana and booked at Luana. I had a little trouble making a reservation (time difference between there & the east coast played a part). We drove out to the yurt after arriving from the east coast & a stop at Mana foods for...

Stayed at Luana Spa Retreat one night during our week-long honeymoon in Maui last summer and it was absolutely wonderful. The perfect way to extend 'the road to Hana' into an overnight stay, we had so many adventures along the drive and were so grateful that we didn't have to rush back to the other side of the island because...
