The hotel is located at the harbor. When you arrive, it is the poor and sad looking building between the lights. I was checked in by a receptionist called Vivian. No smile and very unfriendly. The one who is tired and rather lies on the cauch on Sundays,..... You have to pay a parking fee of USD 5 a day,... More

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. I am deeply sorry for the cool reception from our desk staff upon check in. Please be assured that we have looked into this, and immediate actions have been taken to correct this regrettable level of service. We are a Proudly Hawaiian owned hotel... More

The hotel is a couple minutes drive to the airport, which is great after flying from the east coast. It's a bit run down but my room was clean. The staff I interacted with were very kind. If you're looking for a fancy hotel this probably wouldn't work for you but if you're looking for a clean place to sleep... More

I have been to Maui three times and this is a very nice motel. It is older and dated, but super clean. No mold, no dust, no cobwebs (have had all that in Hiltons and Hyatts and pricey resorts). It is very close to the airport and town; on the beach but I never saw anyone swimming on the beach;... More

For one night close to the airport, Maui Seaside Hotel was just right! When we booked we were offered a free room upgrade which we enjoyed, complete with kitchenette and lanai. Plus after waiting a few extra minutes to check in, we were given a voucher for complimentary breakfast. Although the hotel itself is a bit older the rooms were... More

Many visitors to Maui seek out the most affordable lodging while also expecting the maximum amount of luxury. The Maui Seaside is by no means a luxury hotel, but it is not meant to be. Instead it offers a rare experience, reminiscent of the good old days of lodging in a local flavor. The facility is family owned, not part... More

We needed a motel close to the airport and I wasn't expecting much for 95.00. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The room and grounds were kept very clean. The pool was clean. People were friendly. Parking was 5.00. Rooms had coffeemaker, fridge, iron, hairdryer.

It was March 2011, just days after the earthquake and resulting tsunami in Eastern Japan, when my family and I arrived in Maui. To our surprise, despite being on the bay, Maui Seaside Hotel was not affected by the large waves that came from Japanese waters and raced throughout the Pacific, including Hawaii. An even bigger surprise, the hotel beside... More

This hotel is very close to the airport, which was a major draw for my husband and I. We arrived very late in the evening and the staff was very friendly and welcoming to us. We even got an upgraded room for a reason I'm still unsure of, but it was a nice surprise! The grounds are very nice and... More

This is a beautiful resort, with very nice and friendly staff (especially Florida). It’s very close to the airport and extremely reasonable. We would come back and stay at the Maui Seaside Resort in a heartbeat!

Clean and roomy.A/c worked fine even if the controls were near the floor. Very nice restaurant and staff. Desk very helpful.Free breakfast was complete.Odd that we had to pay for nothing special parking.Older place, looked like it might have been a getaway spot before heading for the beaches. We wanted it to shorten our drive to Hana and back.
