This Days Inn is on the beach, near another hotel, convenience store, and at least two restaurant/bars. It is also walking distance to the Kihei boat ramp, which was convenient for me since I needed to go there for a scuba diving trip. Also, the...More

Larry is correct, there are 4 "ocean front" rooms 2 up and 2 down. The problem with the downstairs rooms are the patio is part of the restaurant, and dinner is served there. You will be looking out your window watching people eat dinner. The bathroom is another problem. There is no fan, you have to open your window to vent the steam from your shower. The problem with that is again your window is right on the patio, and if you shower in the evening, open the window to vent the steam, you will be the "nudie show" for the diners. If you want ocean front, I suggest you spring for the suite, as it is upstairs and has a deck.
They advertise that they have roll-away beds and cribs available, so they probably only charge for adults in the room, not children (so "2" on your reservation means 2 adults and your child stays free).
