We have stayed here a couple trips now and you just can't beat the location. Right across from the beach. Wear shoes or burn your tootsies. We found that if you make your must have amenities well known, they can generally accommodate you. They even...More
The trip to Maui was for my fifth wedding anniversary, and my husband and I wanted a nice but inexpensive place to stay. We were overjoyed with the lovely condo that we rented for the week. It was very clean, had its own washer and...More
We stayed at Maui Vista Dec. 16/ Jan. 17. The condo complex has nice gardens and easy to walk around. Each building has a pool and parking. There are no assigned parking spots and while we could find parking, it wasn't always close to the...More
We arrived at Maui Vista a few hours ago. I am extremely disappointed in the lodgings. It stated air conditioning but has only a tiny unit in the living room on a timer. No cool air is reaching the bedroom and it is like a...More
We were told we were being upgraded. If that was true..... Room basic but fine, fittings and furniture tired. Small balcony. A soulless place to stay. One very annoying thing was having to wash and dry the towels before you leave. Very difficult and unreasonable....More

I have a friend that lives in Building 1 and I personally have stayed in all three buildings. When we stayed in building 3, we rented the top floor. If it is anything like building ones floor plan, it has a open loft that looks down on the living room. It may have one big bed or two twins and a half bathroom. 418 should look out towards the parking lot and towards the West Maui mountains, BUT you should have a killer view. Now the negative about being on the top floor is, the elevators break down a lot as they did during our stay. The last thing we wanted to do is hike stairs after a long day in Hana. Lastly, BRING EARPLUGS!!! on the fourth floor, you are at treetop level. Between the Mynah birds, Doves and parrots/lovebirds they are LOUD!!! The widows are glass louver type and do not block out the noise. Hope all this helps. If you want to know great eats, check out mu other reviews from Maui. ALOHA!!

"1102 was fun and colorful. We loved our room last time. But I am now a big fan of staying on the ground floor!"
