This was an amazing place. Ryan was very responsive with answers to my questions. We had never rented a condo or anything like this before. I can say that this was the best vacation we have ever had. The condo was everything that was advertised and more. We loved being able to sit out on the Lanai and listen to...

Pros: very close to the ocean with a beautiful view, can see & hear the waves crashing; close to grocery stores & small restaurants; well-equipped condo (though Corelle or good vinyl plates & beverage ware would be preferable to the ceramic provided); clean; lots of water toys for kids & adults & snorkeling equipment; lovely grounds; on the 2nd floor...

Maui Sands is an older low rise with mature trees and landscaping. We love the homey feel of these condos verse the high rise mega hotels down the street. The complex has a nice pool and 2 separate BBQ areas. Maui Sands is conveniently located within waling distance of a grocery store, the farm market, ABC, snorkel rentals and restaurants....

You arrive to a 1960s like vista - Maui Sands, and it is like a trip back in time. Surrounded by modern monster hotels, you tuck yourself into this small area, and the biggest worry is finding the proper parking. But once you do, you find that being in the 1960s isn't bad, from the outside, nice grasses, palm trees...

I stayed in Maui Sands unit 1J from November 17-22. The condo is, as advertised, among some of older, low rise condo developments along the Lower Honoapiilani Road, away from the mega resorts. That said, it was conveniently located and this unit has been recently updated with stainless appliances, granite countertops and bathrooms and was perfect for our family of...

Just escaped to the charm of old Hawaii. Lovely, clean one bedroom condo steps from the ocean! No road to cross! Maybe 50-70 steps! It has lush landscaped grounds with tropical trees, exotic flowers, and plants. The kitchen is fully equipped, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, and a washer dryer in the unit. The bed and linens were new...

I try to find oceanfront for a good price. Maui Sands exceeded my expectations. The complex is a bit older but the grounds are lush and right on the ocean. My unit 706 was perfect and had everything I needed. Everything is within walking distance including a great farmers market and coffee house. The beach park is next door and...

The 2-story complex is older, charming, with lovely tropical gardens. The unit is not remodeled, but in very good condition & very clean. I expect bugs in Hawaii, but even though I found an open box of sugar cubes in the cupboard, not one ant or roach in the week we were there. The grounds were absolutely crawling with geckos,...

I stayed ocean front at Maui Sands last year. It was horrible. There were big black roaches crawling on the floor in my bedroom. The place was super nosey and I hated it. We finally left and stayed down the street.
