The owners were the best! The rooms were excellent. We stayed a week for a birthday/anniversary trip. I would definitely stay at the Ho'oilo house again. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay great!

My new husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in Maui. I put huge stock in tripadvisor reviews, so I want to give you a detailed review that is as objective as possible. First, this b and b is definitely a better bet than comparably priced hotels in the area (sheraton, hyatt, etc.). All the beaches in Maui are...

As is always the case, we truly appreciate guests who take the time to post a review on TripAdvisor. In this case, we are happy to hear that these guests truly enjoyed our property, the surroundings and our breakfast. We are of course troubled by their account of us personally. We try our best to always treat our guests to...

We stayed at the Ho'oilo House for our honeymoon and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The atmostphere is both romatic and relaxing. Sitting at the pool is dreamy and we didn't want to leave.

For these last two weeks I have been asking myself if I dreamt my vacation; yes it was just that good. I renamed Dan, Dan the man because he was knowledgeable about the island and super friendly! Amy was efficient and makes the best muffins. Our room was immaculate and taking a shower is not same since enjoying that outdoor...

My husband and i just returned from an eight-night stay at Ho'olio House for our honeymoon. From the Bali-inspired decor to the incredible scenery and beauty from our private lanai - everything exceeded our expectations. The breakfast (homemade breads and muffins, fresh fruit, and island granola) was the perfect way to start each morning. The location - relative to Lahaina...

My husband and I stayed at the Ho'oilo House for 6 days on our honeymoon and it was amazing! We wanted a place that would be away from all the tourists and this place was exactly what we were looking for - so quiet and peaceful. We rarely saw any of the other guests the entire time. The location was...

In celebration of my birthday and anniversary, my husband and I traveled to the Ho'oilo House with 2 other other couples. WOW!!! This place blew us away! The owners/inn keepers Dan and Amy were absolutely amazing. Dan was super personable and accommodating (even though he wasn't feeling his best.) All 3 of our rooms were decorated with top quality pieces...

Loved H-house. With only 6 rooms, the only time we saw anyone was in the morning at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, there is bountiful fresh fruit and muffins, breads, etc. Amy is more than happy to accommodate any special requests, too. Tea is available all day. I highly recommend the coconut blend. Amy and Dan provide all kinds of hats...

The property is cockroach infested. We found so much cockroach in our room we had to buy our own bug Spray and found more than 20 dead roaches the next day. Even our jeep got roach infested because we accidentally left a gap on one of our window. We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our 3 week...

While we truly do appreciate guests posting reviews of our property, we can't help but take issue with this one. Our property is not bug infested. Being on a tropical island, there are of course some bugs. We are able to keep the majority of these at bay with our monthly non-toxic bug spray application. In this unusual situation it...
