Great place to get away from daily hustle and bustle and disconnect. Nice change from crowded touristy beaches. Instead of ocean you get hammock and the breeze through the pine trees. Nice break in the schedule to sightsee during the day.More

Rainy season in Hawaii is winter months--with February usually pretty stormy. but up mauka (in the mountains) it rains a lot anyway. Usually clears fast. There are usually sunny spots on island when Mauka is raining too... More
