I was looking for a location that wasn't a massive report, that had a friendly atmosphere and didn't judge on solo travellers. You'd be amazed at places that do I stayed in the hibiscus room, lovely space, excellent facilities and furnishing. Location- easy to find, about 7-10 mins from the airport. Plenty of parking spaces, and easy routes to get...

Maureen was awesome ! When we arrived to the guesthouse she helped us in and had banana bread waiting for us! She was very accommodating and the room was perfect! She is very knowledgable about the island and gave great tips on places to go! When we come back to Maui we will definitely book here again!

This was our first trip to Maui and we did not know where to stay so we sort of randomly picked a place. We went with something cheaper than a hotel and we were not expecting much. It was beautiful and we were treated very nicely by Maureen. This place is a bit far from the tourist areas but that...

It had been almost 2 years since my first stay at the Wailuku Guesthouse when I contacted the owner Maureen to make a reservation. She remembered me immediately. While she always recommends viewing the available rooms on their website, I asked for the same room I had in 10/14. The Plantation Room. The booking process is simple, and Maureen is...

Aloha Priscilla, You don't realize how much I too so enjoy your visits. I look forward to seeing you each time. Your friendly and sincere demeanor makes me want to give you a gentle Hawaiian hug as you arrive. As I take a seat on the nice new bed you sat besides me and began to talk. I lent my...

I had a great extended stay at the Wailuku Guesthouse. The owner was very accommodating with all my needs. I was able to stay in 2 different rooms during my stay. I received snacks every other day which seemed to magically appear in my room. Sometimes a local snack and sometimes home baked goodies ( my favorite). A very quiet,...

Last summer (2016) we stayed for a week in this guesthouse. It was clean and everything was there. Maureen even brought us some nice chocolate and cookies! Beside of that, we did stay at the Hibiscus Room, and the swimming pool was in front of our door! And the pool was great!! Also a compliment for the young son, who...

We stayed in the Garden Ohana for 7 nights. The rooms were clean and big enough for family. The location is good. There are some restaurants and cafes near the Wailuku Guesthouse. We have got very kind hospitality. Our kids enjoyed the pool everyday!

First, you will be stung by army of mosquitos when you get out of your car. Second, you run into the room from mosquitos through over grown grass in the yard and greet by flies. By the time you sit down on the bed in the upstairs room, horrible smell vaporizes up from the carpet. Then you go out to try...

Aloha, As an owner I think reviews like this are simply people who got found out and then we suddenly become the most horrible, terrible place on earth. In this case, Mr W, booked a room for two adults through booking.com. Knowing he had two adults and 2 full grown teenagers with him. When he arrived he was not happy...

We stayed in the Plantation room for 6 nights. While the bed was large the room wasn't. We were forever moving our bags and having to maneuver around each other. We really appreciated the use of a cooler for taking food for the day and the use of a Maui guidebook. While the coffee was replenished the tea bag (yes...
