I was worried about booking after reading some of the reviews but we didn't experience the same as others it seems. For a hostel we thought it was good! I stayed for 2 nights with a friend, in the building behind where you check in, on the third floor, room E. It had 2 beds, clean sheets, 1xtowel and a...

Ok I was hestitant to book this hostel. Seriously, some of the reviews I have read were not positive at all. After spending couple days in Waikiki I have learned that Oahu and Waikiki in particular is a resembles of American city life. The last time I saw so many homeless people was in Vancouver. Anyway, I am here to...

Went with my husband and daughter to stay in the 2 bdrm cabin...170 dollars nt. Arrived to a HOT , dirty, terrible beds, security issues (deadbolt broken), and buggy! Would not recommend for families...especially for that much money. Ended up at a keiki bungalow forfeiting our deposit.

This place is really run down and needs an urgent make over. It isn't easy to find a cheap place to stay on Hawaii, but I think you should get something better for your money than this. Our room wasn't cleaned before we came and at the end a cockroach crossed our bed.

We arrived at the backpackers with a little trepidation having read some of the previous reviews. Admittedly the room wasn’t as clean as I would desired, but it was liveable. There were fresh bed sheets, however there was spilt rice on the bedroom floor and cobwebs everywhere. I wouldnt walk round without shoes on. It all just needed a good...

Backpackers is a good budget option in a fantastic location across the road from excellent beaches and great snorkeling. There is a supermarket nearby at the next junction. Join their discount 'card' scheme, you just have to give a phone number. Be prepared at Backpackers as the buildings are old and the location gets a lot of rain at times...

Stay in 'Brown House'. Nice little room but very bug ridden, cockroaches would come out at night. Didn't have any double sheets for my bed so used two single bed sheets across the bed. Downstairs the ground is just reddish brown dirt. Living room furniture is not usable. Some floor boards on the outside deck need replacing- would stand somewhere...

My daughter & I just stayed at the beach house E. We arrived almost midnight & key was waiting in mailbox as promised. Woke the following morning the MOST AMAZING BREATH TAKING VIEW "EVER". Ok, I was not expecting the Hilton so I was not taken back at all, in fact just touched a few things up to our liking...
