This is a great spot with the beach only steps away. It is a very secluded beach which is very nice. The water is safe for swimming with the cove protected by the reef. The unit is clean and brightly decorated. We found the bed very comfortable and the unit well stocked. It is a good size for a couple...

We stayed Jan28th-Feb7th in cottege lower level. It was perfect for the five of us! We loved having our own kitchen area and kids had there own space as well.. It could use some updating and some deep cleaning on trim work ect.. But overall it was a great vacation rental.. Loved listening to the ocean every night.. Great Breakfast...

I decided to add a 3 night stop over in Oahu on my way to New Zealand. My mom and I wanted to stay out of the city and the crowds and found Gigi's. The unit was 210, and just as Gigi describes in her site. The price was much more reasonable than other places advertised as "right on the...

We had a great two weeks at Gigi's. Our criteria was beachfront, or as close as possible. After a thorough search of rentals on HomeAway.com we settled on Gigi's "Palailai Paradise." However, I did have trouble contacting her through the site and her calendar on it wasn't current, come to find out. This was my introduction to Hawaiian Time, having...

We sent our just married son and his new wife to cottage A2 for a week and they loved it...nice and clean, well furnished, sunrise every morning, breakfast on the lanai, lots to do nearby. They hope to return to celebrate their one year anniversary. They had a minor plumbing problem with the shower leaking and the response was immediate...

We rented from Cozy Beach Cottage Karen and Heidi which they were great but we ended up in one of Gigi's units which was filthy mold and dirty with ants. I am a landlord myself and my cleaning lady would be fired! Pots, pans, glasses, tupperware, blinds, windows furniture were all dirty sticky. The location and view was OMG quality...

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Gigi's Paradise in March 2011. It wasn't "perfect"...but we weren't expecting perfect. For those who are bothered by a little sand, a little rust, and no big shopping centers, then this is not the place for you...stay in Waikiki with the rest of the tourists who desire perfection and the cookie-cutter vacation....

Being in the hotel business myself, we would not be in business if things were handled as poorly as Gigi handles complaints of this property. She's very defensive if anything negative is brought to her attention and I am sure she will do the same to this review. I reserved a one bedroom condo for a 10day trip to Hawaii for...

While this falls under the "hotel" category on Trip Advisor, Gigi's Paradise are actually condo units along with Pat's at Punaluu. I stayed in a 1 bedroom condo last time; this time it wasn't available and I splurged on the penthouse suite, which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The weather on that part of the island is a little...

If you are looking for a vacation experience AWAY from the crowds, then this is the place! I stayed at this complex in one of the condos and although it was nicely appointed, modern and had a great view, there is undeniable traffic noise from the bedrooms. I moved into one of Gigi's cottages and I never wanted to leave!...

“Review all the cottage/condo options to find the one that fits your needs. The photos are accurate. And don't hesitate to email Gigi directly if you have questions. Also, beware the food trucks (we both got food poisoning from one). Lastly, if you haven't been to Hawaii before, keep in mind that groceries are MUCH more expensive and a little harder to come by than on the mainland.”
