Very comfortable B&B in Kailua. The owner Carol is adorable! The beach is a five minute walk down an access alley, mostly locals so not at all crowded. Private parking, located in a suburban neighborhood, very quiet. Excellent home base for adventures throughout Oahu.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Manu Mele. Carol, the owner was friendly but gave us our space and the property had a warm comfortable feel. We enjoyed using the pool and sitting on the deck in the evenings. It's just a short walk to the beach, and Carol provides numerous items (beach chairs, boogie boards etc.) Our room was... More

I've stayed at Manu Mele several times over the years. At first, I stayed there with my daughter when she was around 7. It's a very safe and beautiful location. Carol welcomed us and we felt at home. Other times, my husband and I stayed at Manu Mele. We love how quiet it is compared to Waikiki! The beach is... More

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Manu Mele in Feb., 2015.The accommodation was clean and comfortable and breakfast was provided. The garden was an oasis of calm after the busyness of Honolulu. I enjoyed daily swims in the pool and the short walk to the beach was convenient for swimming and strolling. Kailua is a charming town... More

Based right beside the glorious beach in Kailua, the location could not have been more perfect for our five days in O'ahu. Far enough away from Waikiki and Honolulu to not be really touristy, but close enough if you did want to visit these places. The accommodation was lovely and the owner Carol is a true gem! She was warm... More

We spent a week here. Although you need a car to get here, it was a great location being only a short walk to the beach. The room interior and exterior surroundings was fine. Carol, the owner was very friendly and helpful during our stay. I would highly recommend it.
