This is truly a paradise place. This place is surrounded by tropical greenery. Soothing views of the bay and the imposing mountain. Authentic cuisine was incredibly delicious and healthy. This is a great place to vacation with family.

This is one of my favorite places. It's like in the movies. You wake up and are greeted by absolutely stunning views of Kaneohe Bay and the Ko'olou Mountains. The staff are friendly and the property is immaculately kept. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards for several hours to go explore the bay and on Saturdays, they have a...

My husband, 5 year old son, and I just spent 8 amazing nights at the Paradise Bay Resort for spring break. We'd stayed in Maui and Kauai before, but not Oahu. I loved the idea of direct flight, but was worried we might have a more crowded/less beautiful experience, but boy was I wrong! The location on Kaneohe Bay is...

Resort is not the right word for this gem. It is a tropical enclave on a cove off of Paradise Bay that surprises you because it is so different from its surroundings and its name. Driving into the area one wonders how there could possibly be a resort or any other type of lodging nearby as it is a residential...

Had a nice stay. Was very private and peaceful. Enjoyed the views at breakfast. Nice service and friendly. Not your normal place as it is located in a neighborhood along a steep hillside. Wonderful views and a short drive to points of interest on the windward side. Just a bit different or unique but super relaxing. Many cool cats roaming...

At the beginning I was suspicious about the rates, and even more about that extra charge at check-in.I am a a single parent and went there with my 15 years old daughter. As a gift for her birthday.I am a hard-core surfer but could not find decent room for a couple like us at north shore. So I choose Paradise Bay. The only bad thing about my stay was that I couldn't stay longer. I truly enjoyed the uniqueness of the cove, the beauty and cleanliness of my suite, and the area for yoga on the deck. One flaw in their scheduling is that all of the yoga classes are advertised as vinyasa yoga, however, the class I took was much...

We only stayed here one night at the end of our 5 night trip to Oahu. Glad we did! Wish we had stayed longer. Friendly staff, nice spacious rooms. Beautiful setting. Much quieter and peaceful than Waikiki area. We would not really call this place a "resort" because it's lacking in typical resort amenities and rooms are comfortable but not...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Aloha! We are very excited to announce the completion of our room and property renovations. We will continue to enhance the property as other resorts do, however the bulk of work is complete. We appreciate all of the input we received both positive and negative and we have used it to get to the point we are today. We were recently awarded the 2014 TripAdvisor Award of Excellence. We are blessed to be part of what we all consider to be the most beautiful tropical setting in the Hawaiian Islands. Now the property, accommodations and warm staff complement our surroundings. We call ourselves True Hawaii and what does that mean? Our setting reveals the answer. We are located in a panorama of spectacular natural and tropical beauty, from amazing Hawaiian mountain ranges and lush tropical landscape, to beautiful Kaneohe Bay, Chinaman's Hat Island and out to the Pacific Ocean. We border an ancient Hawaiian fishpond surrounded by lush tropical mangroves. The Kahuona Fishpond is one of the last remaining working fishponds and is designated a historical site. We are the only resort property with private access to Kaneohe Bay. Kaneohe Bay hosts the most abundant and diverse sea life and reef system in the Hawaiian Islands and our guests can access it safely right from the resort. Our design fits with the environment and has a contemporary and authentic Hawaiian look and feel. We thank our guests who have stayed with us in the past and helped to support us. We appreciate your patience with the renovations and know you will be delighted on your next stay. The property, guest rooms, new amenities, services and warm staff are here to take care of you. We offer our guests the same entertainment, special Saturday sand bar excursion and we have added a few more; a Friday evening Firedance Show, additional live Hawaiian music and surprise cultural classes. We have added some new things such as; a fitness room, Wi-Fi, on call spa service, new pool and hot tub, new floating lounge areas, conference room, intimate wedding ceremonies and we are pet friendly. We have renovated and upgraded our guestrooms with; new furnishings, artwork, premium pillow top mattresses, luxurious bedding and linens as well as new flat screen TV's and IPod docks.Kayak use is still included and we also have Standup Paddle Boards and private boat charter available. We look forward to seeing you the next time you come to Paradise. Warm Aloha, David and Stephanie Ryan ... more   less
