My wife and I have just spent 5 wonderful nights at Paradise Bay Resort and can highly recommend it. As mentioned in other reviews, the drive in can be deceiving but don't worry, it is Paradise. The staff are very friendly and always willing to assist. Miso & Yvette deserve a special mention for their wonderful assistance during our stay....

Absolutely stunning location. Don't be fooled by the approach through the fishing village which leaves you wondering, the resort itself is superb and very well run by the ever accommodating staff. The views out over the bay are jaw-dropping. We opted for the Honeymoon Suite which was well worth it and afforded us unrivalled views and with no-one overlooking us....

In a residential area just off Kamehameha Hwy. don''t be fooled by the cluttered yards. We stayed in one bedroom suite that was level with the road, 3 levels below us. Had a large lanai overlooking Kane'ohe Bay and Ko'olau Mountains. A quiet retreat after spending a week in Waikiki. A great place to explore the windward side of Oahu...

We had the best time at Paradise Bay Resort. It is perfect for all types of activities: canoeing, water rafting, snorkeling, as well as other water sports, including fishing. They have a complimentary breakfast, very nice, and a 9 am yoga class. All these activities are complimentary, except for the snorkeling and stand-up water sports. It is a great deal....

4 stars only for the air conditioning in our first unit. It was a studio, very small and dark and the air conditioning was inadequate. Unit 37. Then we had Unit 20 and the air was adequate. Also a 4 star because it is very light and bright all nite long! I think they should have put in room darkening...

My wife and I were looking for something that was different from all the Waikiki hotels. We stayed in Waikiki a couple times, but were kinda over the touristy scene there. Paradise Bay was amazing. Very secluded, fantastic views. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgable of the area. Lots of activities included-- snorkle gear, kayaks, etc. The room was...

First up was the front desk. I have 2 kids. And they totally accommodated us. Genuinely nice local people. We scored this huge room. Tucked onto a quiet bay, off a residential side road, this unassuming property wins you over with its lovely views, nicely appointed rooms, and laid-back but attentive service. While we didn't have time to enjoy the activities the property offers (yoga, kayaking on the bay, etc.), we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere that makes this a great getaway spot.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Aloha! We are very excited to announce the completion of our room and property renovations. We will continue to enhance the property as other resorts do, however the bulk of work is complete. We appreciate all of the input we received both positive and negative and we have used it to get to the point we are today. We were recently awarded the 2014 TripAdvisor Award of Excellence. We are blessed to be part of what we all consider to be the most beautiful tropical setting in the Hawaiian Islands. Now the property, accommodations and warm staff complement our surroundings. We call ourselves True Hawaii and what does that mean? Our setting reveals the answer. We are located in a panorama of spectacular natural and tropical beauty, from amazing Hawaiian mountain ranges and lush tropical landscape, to beautiful Kaneohe Bay, Chinaman's Hat Island and out to the Pacific Ocean. We border an ancient Hawaiian fishpond surrounded by lush tropical mangroves. The Kahuona Fishpond is one of the last remaining working fishponds and is designated a historical site. We are the only resort property with private access to Kaneohe Bay. Kaneohe Bay hosts the most abundant and diverse sea life and reef system in the Hawaiian Islands and our guests can access it safely right from the resort. Our design fits with the environment and has a contemporary and authentic Hawaiian look and feel. We thank our guests who have stayed with us in the past and helped to support us. We appreciate your patience with the renovations and know you will be delighted on your next stay. The property, guest rooms, new amenities, services and warm staff are here to take care of you. We offer our guests the same entertainment, special Saturday sand bar excursion and we have added a few more; a Friday evening Firedance Show, additional live Hawaiian music and surprise cultural classes. We have added some new things such as; a fitness room, Wi-Fi, on call spa service, new pool and hot tub, new floating lounge areas, conference room, intimate wedding ceremonies and we are pet friendly. We have renovated and upgraded our guestrooms with; new furnishings, artwork, premium pillow top mattresses, luxurious bedding and linens as well as new flat screen TV's and IPod docks.Kayak use is still included and we also have Standup Paddle Boards and private boat charter available. We look forward to seeing you the next time you come to Paradise. Warm Aloha, David and Stephanie Ryan ... more   less
