By far the worst place I ever stayed at using my timeshare in 20 years. First off, they are not a resort despite its advertising. Second, room 1405 is infested with roaches. Such unsanitary conditions are just unacceptable. Third, your charged a cleaning fee although...More
We decided to stay outside the bustle of Waikiki so we picked Makaha. The traffic was horrible with construction signs dating back to 2012. Then we passed the tent villages and all the tents on the beach. It is truly a liberal paradise, if that...More
Once you get here, the beach and area doesn't disappoint. You will have to rent a car, about an hour drive from the airport. It appears traffic is constant, during the day. Pick up your groceries in Honolulu and trek out to the condo. Once...More

NO fine dining. This is a area that is more "local" than tourist. Just going to the grocery store people will stare because you are "not from there". Some visitor's are a little afraid of the area but if you are used to living with locals than it's ok but some people do have issues with the homeless. The resort itself is gated.

Yes you can. There is a Security Person available on-site, to let you in the security gate, and to give you keys to your suite. You can complete Check-In in the Office in the morning. The staff is the greatest.
