We stayed in the garden suite for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. Wayne has been very kind and made sure we were feeling comfortable. The room is well organized and furbished. Equipment for snorkeling or boogy board is provided. We had marvelous breakfast in the garden with birds singing. The village is next to everything to visit the...

We stayed here for 5 days and had a great time! It was so close to the beach you literally just walk down less than a block to get there. Waimanalo beach was kind windy but still very clean and long sand beach! We felt welcomed and enjoyed the backyard. Lots of birds to wake you up in the morning!

We spent five wonderful nights at Hale Nalo... and loved it. We stayed in one of the garden suites which was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Especially enjoyed the peaceful setting, being steps away from a glorious, uncrowded beach, and the low-key ambience of this side of Oahu. Herlinda's hospitality made us feel right at home. Hope we can return...

Aloha "Joyous Gypsies"! We love this business because it allows us to meet, and host, wonderful people like you. We are so glad you were comfortable in your Garden Suite, and that ,coming from folks who themselves were long-time innkeepers, well, made your happiness even more satisfying. Mahalo for your kind review. Hope to see you in VA! HN

I want to share my review of Hale Nalo because it was the most beautiful memorable experience. My husband and I honeymooned at the Zen Treehouse in Oahu and I’m so happy we decided to do that. When searching for a place to stay in Oahu I stumbled upon an ad for the Zen Treehouse and fell in love with...

Aloha Fiona & Dave, Thank you so much for your kind words! Although our Garden Suites are wonderful, the Zen Treehouse really is a special place for making memorable moments like you describe so well. We really have nothing we could add to this review. Please do return again and again, and each time we will look forward to it,...

I spent a week at the Zen Treehouse and it was as advertised, and much more. The spacious apartment is a quiet retreat just yards from the beach. Upon entering, a basket of bananas, pineapples and mangos await you as you enter this tranquil abode. It was also nice to have the beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc supplied and...

Thank you TMT for taking a moment to review our Zen Treehouse, we do appreciate it! Comfort is a priority here at Hale 'Nalo and our location, just a few steps to where some have called it, the best beach in the world, adds to that by making it quite easy to relax the moment you arrive. HN

Very nice place to stay. Yard area a great place for a picnic lunch and very Hawaii. Local eateries within walking distance and also very non-touristy. Beach is less than 5 minutes walking and just about perfect. Hosts are welcoming. Overall location good for exploring O'ahu.

Hale 'Nalo provides the visitor with the closest venue to the best beach in all of Hawaii. We have visited many beaches on the Hawaiian islands but none compare to the 30 second walk from Hale 'Nalo. Whether it's full sun or total shade the ~6 mile view usually has about 40 people in sight. Simply amazing. Herlinda and Wayne...

My wife and I traveled here for Christmas. Great loft in the middle of a quiet sleepy town of waimanalo and just a short 3min walk to one if the most amazing beaches on the island. We will for sure be back.
