WE have stayed here for the last 5 years, this year we cant get a cabin, snooze you loose,,LOL. WE have reservations at BP, but not sure, we love Bellows because of its location, the shopette, all stuff on base walking distance, its the best. We have seen all the tourist stuff, so we like to just hang out and relax,...

We've been staying at Bellows AFB for over 20 years, about twice a year. We've stayed in the old cabins (when we were young, fortunately), the new big cabins right inside the gate (spacious, clean, but hard to reserve), the renovated cabins (clean, functionable, lots of sand outside your door to track inside to your sheets, and finally, the CONDO's....

At about $100 a night for a two bedroom, one bath cabin literally steps from the best beach on the island, this is the best deal going for active duty or retired military. Better yet, if you have friends who are active duty or retired... have 'em take you along! The cabins are not five star hotel, but they are...

Absolutely beautiful location. This is my 4th visit with many more to come. The cabins are old but in great ship with new furnishings and appliances. The only problem is the critters - ants, cockroaches and large centipedes. They supposedly cannot spray for environmental reasons but....The ants are easy to take care of with Taro traps available at many stores....

2 adults/3 kids stayed for 10 days in the ground level condo. Check in was easy and staff pleasant. The rooms are a good size. Hot water is kinda a pain but for the price and location I could deal with it. Saw a couple ants but not a huge deal. My only complaint was with housekeeping. I'm not sure...

My family rented a beach front cottage at Bellows for March 21-27, 2015. It was two bedrooms with a pull out couch and one bathroom. It easily accomodated our family of 5. The cottage was clean and in good working order. The cottage was 100 feet from the beach. Bellows is very rural and relaxing. The beach is clean and...

You have to have a military ID to stay and get on Bellows, but the cottages are just average.there are rustics and ones that are deemed updated. The beach is one of the best beaches on Oahu with sandy bottom and no rocks. It's very quiet during the week. The updated cottages are ok but you must keep everything put...

Bellows Beach is the best we saw on Oahu, and it was so quiet since only military/Veterans can access this area. What an amazing hidden gem. The duplex cabins are nothing fancy, and had the feel of a lake cabin. But we weren't there for the accomodation since, after all, this is Hawaii! This side of the island is much...

If you're blessed with a military ID and its privileges you should consider visiting the lovely Bellows Recreation Center. It's technically Bellows Air Force Station and doubles as an auxiliary training base for the Marines from nearby Kaneohe (MCBH). That means the beach is off-limits except for authorized personnel. Read that to read it's safe and clean. And, it is...

There is something amazing about this beach. I don't know if it is the color, the fact that it isn't crowded, the magnificent waves and views, but we love visiting Bellows AFB beach when we are in Hawaii. On our next trip we plan to stay in one of the cabins.
