We had a layover on our way to Japan and saw that Pacific Star was rated a 4 star and previously was a Marriott. For the price of $250 per nite I expected at least nice updated facilities. It is probably 90's decor, outdated carpets and a musty humid smell. However, the rooms were clean & the lighting in the...

Due to flight problems, our group had to stay in Guam for a couple of days. We were able to get rooms at this hotel. Nothing fancy, but it had a bed and bath. Also had a pool, outside bar and access to the ocean. Too bad is was rather rainy and cool! It was literally a dry port for...

We were 'dumped ' here by United Airlines after their usual late arrival meant we missed our connecting flight . Wasn't expecting much but it was a pleasant surprise. Room - pretty good . Lovely bed and fabulous pillows after the rather nasty bed we had used on Chuuk . Bathroom rather dated but ok Externally the hotel has seen...

Nice place , no traffic ,wide roads, clean beaches with clear water- good place to spend vacation with family. Friendly staff and the lobby is quite big with lots of views to the beach front. Ideal place for snorkeling.

IIt was my first day in Guam, just arrived from the airport in fact. And I headed for my scheduled buffet lunch at Pacific Star Resort and Spa. I love how varied their offerings were and that during my visit, it was Filipino Buffet for lunch. How apt it is for me! There were also a lot of Filipino staff...

I stayed here for five nights with a Road Scholar group of eight people. It has an excellent location right on the water, but the place has seen its days and is very badly need of renovation. I saw chunks of concrete gone, lots of dirt seen from the swimming pool, and dirt on the carpets. The staff is friendly...

Booked in this hotel by United Airlines on a layover due to their delays and inefficiency resulting in a stay of only 3 hours. (That was long enough). The hotel is generally tired, the bathroom looked is if it was from the 60's, the TV belonged in a museum and the lobby is soulless. I am glad I was not...

Hotel staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is of good design. It has everything you could ask of a resort. Things like beach access, a pool, a spa, 2 restaraunts, a wine bar etc. This hotel could use some TLC. It is starting to show its age but they do a good job otherwise. With some renovations they...

The Pacific Star labels itself as a resort and spa which is only partially correct since it does have a spa. The hotel is a old and in need of repair in many areas. I was interested in using the hot tub and the sauna, both of them were out of order and were obviously out of order for quite...

Needless to say, Tumon bay has great views regardless of the hotel. However pacific star is at best a 2 star hotel. First impression was driving through the parking garage that at best was designed for smart cars. Friends who were with us managed to scrape the side of the garage in their mini van. The exterior of the hotel...
