It's a friendly place to stay with great price and the location is just what we like. You don't have to drive anywhere if you don't want to. Walk, take a bus, or drive if you wish. They have tips on where to eat and what to do and a nice pool and breakfast area if you wish to eat...

The hotel is located very close to restaurents and shopping centers. It is also very close to other visiting centers. Above all, it is clean and the price is not very high comparing with others.TV with local chanels were available. Coffee and coffee pot availble in your room to make your own coffee. Very convenient to town and easy access to Acadia National Park. No frills rooms but comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful and cleaning attendants were kind and seemed d hard working. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Inexpensive, clean, good location, easy parking, friendly staff. Great for those looking to experience bar harbor and its environs. Simple breakfast in close quarters. Not for those looking for luxury. We are return visitors and would come again!

in walking distance of everything. We have stayed there for vacation for over 10 years. They have changed owners and we were worried that things would change but they have not. You do need a car to explore Acadia National Park.

Loved the location of the Villager - just down the street from the Village Green. Rooms were comfortable and the deck offered view of activity in town. Since we are a very active family, we did not need anything too fancy. The accommodations were perfect for our time in Bar Harbor.

Overall the stay was good. The hotel is very close to everything downtown bar harbor so we walked everywhere from the room. The hotel is older with small rooms and grandma style decor however they were very clean and and the hotel staff was extremely friendly.

We recently spent 3 nights at the Bar Harbor Villager Motel. The price was reasonable. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent - right in the middle of town, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We were surprised at how many people were visiting Bar Harbor at this time of year. It was chilly everyday, but...
