We just spent 3 nights in Bar Harbor (which we love) and stayed at Aysgarth Station B&B. The Inn itself is ok, nice living and dining rooms, the bedroom we stayed in (Whitby) was small, very small, but we already knew that before arriving. There is a cute friendly kitty which we enjoyed but anyone with allergies should be aware....

We are certainly sad that your didn't enjoy your stay and our personalities and sense of humor - yes we do try to joke around with people. I'm sorry we fell flat with you. We certainly try to help with suggestions on the area, hikes, park info etc. We are sad that you didn't enjoy the breakfast experiences as it...

Four of us enjoyed a great meal here.. The food was good and the staff were pleasant and attentive. The view towards the Falls proved an excellent backdrop..The restaurant was spacious in a two tier style Recommended.

Much as I'd love the credit, I believe the reviewer was writing a review for a property at Aysgarth UK. We are named after this town as it's where I spent much of my youth growing up, but we are a B&B in Bar Harbor Maine, not the restaurant at my hometown! I'm guessing from the description the review should...

We decided to try a bed and breakfast (our first ever) while on a trip around the northeast. Boy did we luck out. We stayed in one of the rooms on the third floor, complete with a great view of the quaint street and an immaculate bathroom. The room was absolutely beautiful, and so cozy. We were greeted warmly by...

Thank you for the kind words. We're glad to introduce you to the B&B Community! Sunrise is early here, especially if you're hiking up on a winter morning, so it's not for the fainthearted!

Even thought the weather was cold, we had a nice stay here. Very friendly hosts, even the cat and the food was very delicious. The common area was very cozy with the fireplace. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Had to nights here in the Chatsworth Room. Lovely en suite bathroom with spa bath! Breakfasts were very tasty and round a table with the other guests. The inn keeper was extremely knowledgable about the area and places to eat. It seemed very laid back and chilled. Enjoyed the stay.

B & B was awesome. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Jane and Steve were awesome hosts and very helpful. Far enough away from the town center crowds but easy to walk there. No TV needed as we only slept in the room! Breakfast was outstanding. Great place to stay. Highly recommend if you like B & B's.

This is a very friendly and comfortable B&B and Jane and Steve are very warm and friendly hosts. There is a very comfortable lounge with plenty of seating and lots of local guides and maps to browse through. The Dining room is equally comfortable and the breakfasts are excellent! Coffee, Tea and soft drinks are always available and Jane and...

It is located just a couple of blocks from Main Street and its shops and restaurants, so we only needed to park once. Our room had no TV, which was fine with us. Breakfast was excellent, with portion sizes that were manageable and they had all the little extras, including scones when we arrived, bedside chocolate covered blueberries, menus from...

This B&B is one for the books. Walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor, the location is perfect! Jane and Steve are great innkeepers and even better cooks....the breakfasts were outstanding! Our room was comfortable, clean and cozy. No TV...get over it. It does the wi-fi so you don't miss a trick. And don't skip town without a stay here.

My husband and I really enjoyed this B & B. Jane served over the top breakfasts where you felt like you were at a five star gourmet restaurant. She made sure we were comfortable and gave a wealth of info on what to do in Bar Harbor! We personally decided we aren't B & B people (our first time ever...
