If you are going to stay in Bar Harbour this hotel is the ideal one, within easy walking distance of the main stores and restaurants and of course the harbour its self. Just a few minutes walk to the walkway that fronts the harbour it is a walk on a sunny evening. We had a large bedroom facing over the...

if your staying in bar harbor, Maine for a few days and more, the sea croft inn is a one minute walk to the downtown stores and bars. As close as it is to the main Street you will not hear any cars or people noise. it's perfect for people who drink with out having to drive. The Sea croft...

We really loved our stay here. The location is wonderful. You are right in town and can easily walk everywhere. However, it's also somehow slightly removed and quiet. It also is just steps away from the shore path and water. For what you pay you get so much. We stayed in the suite-style rooms on the second floor-- had a...

We have been to Bar Harbor many times and typically stay in the cute "downtown" district. Unimpressed with our choice of lodging last time, we tried a different Inn. Typically, accommodations are pricey in Bar Harbor. I found this to be a great value. I booked the family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable. When we go back...

My wife and I vacationed recently in Bar Harbor, ME and stayed 6 nights at the Seacroft Inn, Neat, clean, and most convenient to downtown. Bunny is a great hostess. Fresh coffee each morning. If you stay in 5B, which we did, parking is a little tight but nothing to detract from the stay. I am glad I did not...

The Inn became a wonderful home for my wife and I on our first trip to Bar Harbor. The Seacroft was beautiful and very cozy. We stayed in room #4 which had a generous amount of room and a small kitchenette. I found this Inn while looking for a place to stay that allowed us to walk to shopping, restaurants,...

The Seacroft Inn was exactly as we'd hoped, if not better! Location was perfect (which is very important in this area!), being a very, very short walk to the restaurants & shops in one direction, or the beautiful Shore Path Walk, in the other. Best of all, it was probably the most immaculate place we've ever stayed! I highly recommend...

We enjoyed our stay at the Seacroft Inn. Our room was very comfortable and very, very clean! The owner was very helpful too! The best part of the Inn is its location. It is a block off the Main St, but was very quiet! Plus the shore path was at the end of the road!! Quaint, cute and pretty! Just...

My husband and I visit Bar Harbor every other year, and we always choose to stay at the Seacroft Inn. In fact, we even request the same room. The accommodations are cozy and comfortable. As avid hikers, we greatly appreciate the in-room mini fridge and laundry service. The only suggestion would be for a new/firmer mattress. As far as location...

A lovely home with private quarters. We stayed in room #4 and it was comfortable with a kitchenette ( sink, microwave and small refrigerator) a private bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer. The cute home was just a side street off of town with easy walking distance ( like 3 minutes ) to the Main Street for eateries and shops and...
