The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Upon arriving Brian made dinner reservations for us at a local restaurant that was very enjoyable. When leaving at 6:30 he was up early and provided us with a homemade apple cinnamon muffin and a fruit smoothie. Beautifully decorated Inn. Rooms were spacious. Close to downtown area. Would highly recommend this B&B to...

The owner/hosts are great friendly people doing a really wonderful job here. We stayed in the Romeo Juliet, which was a large very nicely furnished room with a huge bath that was modern and well designed. There was more storage and hanging space than you would usually expect. The room had an air conditioner but the ceiling fan was more...

We can't say enough about our stay at the Hearthside Inn in Bar Harbor. Catherine and Brian made us feel at home and welcome from the moment we stepped into the front door. Brian is a very valuable wealth of information on Mount Desert Island and the surrounding area. Without his suggestions and tips we would have missed a lot...

The Hearthside B&B will not disappoint. We stayed in their smallest room on the third floor and still had plenty of room for two. The furnishings are lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and though the B&B was full, we didn't even hear our neighbors. The owners are incredibly thoughtful and their attention to detail...

We stayed with Brian and Catherine over Columbus Day Weekend for the second year in a row. We loved it so much last year that we came back for more! And we are going back next year as well. We have stayed at many other bed and breakfasts in Bar Harbor but this is our favorite. Brian and Catherine make...

Wonderful hosts, clean, lovely rooms. Ours had a fireplace which was charming. We were served down home breakfasts and excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this B&B!

Brian and Catherine were such amazing hosts! My boyfriend and I stayed there for a few nights in May and we both couldn't agree more that this couple, in addition to the wonderful house, really made our stay in Bar Harbor a memorable one. Brian knows everything about Bar Harbor and told us about some great spots to see and...

My wife and I spent three nights there in September and we can not add anything different to all the positive comments already noted. Great location on a quiet street, and wonderful hosts. The only comment I can add would be to book a long time in advance as their facility is usually full. We were in the Romeo and...
