I very much enjoyed my experience at the Quimby House, the property is very clean and tidy. I also enjoyed my conversation with the owner Danielle in the A.M over coffee in the lobby, It was almost like being home!

We had a really nice time staying with Danielle and Tim...they run a lovely inn, warm and friendly while respecting your privacy. Our room was nice, and appropriately furnished. It was a pleasure getting to know our innkeepers through our couple of day stay. Danielle and Tim were very informative and helpful when asked about area questions...their recommendations were right...

We had a lovely time at The Quimby House over our anniversary. The owner Tim was awesome and helped us create things to do over a very off season part of the year. Our Saturday night stay was amazing and our Sunday was also fantastic. We had a relaxing time in a beautiful, spacious room when we were there. We...

We arrived to find our room key left in an envelope on the front desk with no one around. Apparently, the owners went out of town for a few days right before we arrived and left a very young lady in charge. She was very nice but extremely inexperienced and rarely available at the front desk. Our room was lovely...

My husband and I took his high school jazz band to Bar Harbor for the state jazz festival and we all stayed at the Quimby House Inn. Some inn owners would "quake in their boots" to see all these high school kids coming to stay in a lovely inn, but these inn owners made certain our stay was excellent. They...

Quimby House Inn is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Tim and Danielle Ray are the sweetest innkeepers I've ever met. The inn is in a perfect mint condition. The interior design welcomes you with its warmth and you simply don't want to leave because you feel like home. The service is excellent and hot coffee...

We arrived in Bar Harbor with no reserved hotel room. We stopped at the local visitor's ctr. we asked for a decent place to stay, not too expensive as we were looking for a place to sleep. Not hang out in. They recommended the Quimby House. We checked in, the desk clerk was very friendly and informative. Gave us suggestions...

spacious, clean accommodations, we had suite 221 in the Annex behind the inn. Good sized bedroom, small kitchen, small living room, small bathroom. Off street parking, great location - midway between downtown and College of the Atlantic. Only complaint was no wi-fi signal in room 221. If you want wi-fi, request room closer to the main inn. Dated decor but...

The Quimby House Inn is a moderate sized inn located slightly away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bar Harbor. It is very easy to walk to attractions, shops and restaurants. There is also a shuttle bus that goes through much of Acadia National Park. The parking is good, and the rooms have comfortable amenities.

We spent three nights here and were pleased with the downtown location, easy parking, and large room (#104) with nice sitting room connected by door. This first floor room opens to lobby and has easy access to front door. Would be really good for family with children. Two tv's to keep everyone happy. There is another building out back but...
