Leigh is a wonderful hostess and Matt is a fabulous chef. - quite possibly the best breakfasts I've had at a B&B, and I'm not even counting the prebreakfast treats scones, coffee cakes). Our room was very comfortable. Leigh provided us with everything we needed to plan our days in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Would definitely stay there again..

This truly is a beautiful place to stay, comfortable and peaceful. Matt and Leigh are phenomenal hosts, they are both so welcoming and friendly. Leigh is a catalog of information...places to go and see, just ask and she'll have you on your way. The breakfasts were to die for. And the little treats Matt would leave out for the guests...

We recently spent several days at the Maples Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners Lee and Matt were very helpful in many ways. They offered suggestions of things to do and places the explore. The breakfast options were great and there was always a wonderful afternoon treat. We look forward to a return visit!

My husband and I just took our first trip to Maine where we stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast! Leigh & Matt were so accommodating and pleasant. We took our time getting to our B&B on day one because we wanted to drive up Route 1 to check out scenery. This put us arriving after check out time which...

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Maples Inn. Leigh and Matt were wonderful hosts. The daily breakfasts, pastries, and cookies were delicious (thanks, Matt!), and this b&b shines in its attention to small details (fresh fruit and granola bars to take on hikes, ponchos and umbrellas to borrow, a plethora of books about the island and...

My wife and I stayed in the Shore Pine room at the Maples Inn during the "quiet season" in early May. Can't say enough about the accommodations. Each day starts with an amazing breakfast (included in the price). We ate so much for breakfast every day we didn't even need lunch (which saved plenty of $$ for great dinners!). The...

Our stay at the Maples Inn was amazing. The room was beautiful, super clean, perfect location and the bed so comfy! Matthew and Leigh were so welcoming! They helped us choose a restaurant and even recommended hikes to do in Acadia National Park. They also handed us books to read about the park that same night so we were able...

We've stayed in many B&B's over the years, but this might be one of the best: excellent location and accommodations, but what makes this extraordinary are the hosts. Matt's cooking and Leigh's kindness and helpfulness made our stay memorable. We had a slight medical emergency and Leigh made the doctor visit arrangements. She made sure we were taken care of....

Fabulous hosts--very helpful personalized recommendations for activities and dining; choice of several different cooked to order breakfasts daily; freshly baked treats & lemonade every afternoon. They even had a little gift waiting in our room when we checked in. The inn is located just a couple of blocks from downtown, but it's very quiet. Rooms are tastefully furnished. Lots of...
