We stayed at the Bluenose Inn for just one night in Oct. 2016. 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 7 and 10). The views, if you can manage a room on the second floor of the building nearest the exit, are unmatched. It is absolutely gorgeous. The indoor pool and hottub were great, as well. Our kids had a blast...

The Bluenose Inn has a good location with views of Frenchman’s Bay, and is only a mile from Bar Harbor’s town center and an easy drive in the opposite direction to the Hulls Cove entrance to Acadia National Park. The inn is very dated but seems to be well maintained. I would describe the décor as 1980’s Best Western –...

We loved our room with its incredible view of the water! No complaints at all, and especially enjoyed the piano entertainment in the evening. We were able to walk downtown (about a mile each way) and enjoy all Bar Harbor has to offer.

The Bluenose wasn't bade, just it was truly average. For a place like Bar Harbor, we felt in retrospect there would be nice place to stay. We did use the laundry facilities which were nice, but the breakfast was below average and the room pretty much like a Best Western

This was a beautiful hotel with gorgeous views! The room was very large and exceptionally clean! We had a beautiful room with a view of the water and a nice outdoor patio area. I would absolutely stay there again if I ever got back to Bar Harbor!

The Bluenose Inn was a perfect place to stay while visiting Maine. The large room with fridge, microwave, lovely fireplace and well-sized balcony with an amazing view was added enjoyment as we checked Maine from our fall visit "bucket list". Another added plus was proximity to Acadia National Park which is a true treasure. We were traveling near the end...

Pleasantly surprised at the size and deluxe amenities in the room, Nice fireplace and balcony had beautiful views of the water. Staff were very helpful and piano player in the evening in the bar area was a very pleasant entertainment surprise. Only downside was the very mediocre (but free) breakfast which didn't matter too much because the lobby had apples...

We went late in the season, so we enjoyed a luxurious room with a stunning view at a remarkable price. Nice people, very clean. Breakfast a bit weak but free. And no traffic downtown or in the Park! Yay! Acadia was great, but nearby Schoodic Pt. was almost as good.

A one night stay in Bar Harbor for a business meeting. The Bluenose Inn has a great location, built around late 1990s and the decor show it. But it's well maintained, the views are terrific, the indoor pool great and service friendly. My king room with refrigerator and microwave was huge and very comfortable.
