We rented Cottage #3 for a week in August. It was the perfect size for the two of us, our two young children, and our Golden Retriever. Cleanliness is a big thing for me and this place was spotless. Open the windows and you get a fantastic Maine cross breeze. Food is not cheap in the Bar Harbor area, so... More

Booking a last minute trip to bar harbor was not easy but this was a great find. Stayed in cabin 7 which is behind the others and on it's own. Was facing the road so had a little noise but many other places along route 3 also were close to the road. Noise was ok and temperature with out a/c... More

Cabins were very close to the road- traffic all night! Nothing terrible but not nice either. Bed uncomfortable. No sheets for the futon. Cabins were damp. New tv were nice. Hair dryer would be nice. Windows were old and did not lock or close well. No desire to open them because of the non stop road noise.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the inn and I very much recommend this place. In an area of Maine which is generally pretty expensive (unless you are camping) this was a very welcome place. Had 2 rooms next to each other and shared a bathroom (with our adult sons). The rooms were bright, clean and decorated... More

We had a pleasant stay at Llangalan Inn. We had room nr. 5 downstairs which was very bright, big and comfortable. The bathroom is small but fine. The breakfast was great with home made muffins. If the weather is nice you can have breakfast outside on the terrace. The accommodation is close to Bar Harbor which has many nice restaurants... More

We stayed in cottage #8 a 2 room cottage with a kitchenette. The bed was comfy, the place was clean. The owners were wonderful. Each cottage also gets a gas grille and picnic table so you can cook and eat outside if the weather is nice. There is also Hadley's Point nearby where you can build a fire and cook... More

We stayed here while visiting the Bar Harbor area. We stayed in cottage #1 which was like a large studio. The place was clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable. There was a "kitchen" area that included microwave, 2 burner cooktop, toaster oven. The kitchen was stocked but a little more counter space would have been helpful. Had to... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Inn September 2013 and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, comfortable and light. The many choices of items for breakfast is outstanding. Learning about the history of the home and surrounding area was a big plus as was discussing current local events. We visited Acadia Park during our visit and the weather... More

Nice clean room. The B& B had only one open room, and we had to share a bath. I definitely would stay there again, but our preference is to have our own bath. Morning continental breakfast was excellent!
