Thank You gbangs59! If you don't mind, I'll just add that our free ride service is only available Monday through Friday mornings to the local area. Yes, we've had walls get scratched by suitcases, etc. in our rooms. Fresh painting will happen that that the summer peak season is over and we can put a few rooms at a time...

One of few Victorian hotels in San Fran. Reported to be haunted. Stayed several nights; they have evening sherry and cookies...free basic breakfast. Very helpful staff, spacious rooms, somewhat expensive.

Thank You So Much Matt-U63... So glad you discovered the Queen Anne. October is very expensive across San Francisco due to Convention demand. If you're returning to the City between now and June... please have another look as our rates are much lower. Call us directly for very best price!

I needed a hotel walking distance to Van ness and Geary and found this one on trip advisor. It was well worth the stay. It's old quaint Victorian. Room was clean and quiet. I had no problems. Breakfast was good and the price was right. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, less expensive place to stay.

The bed was sooooo uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and the mattress was not good. The bed linens were old. There was no air conditioner, but I get it's not really needed in San Fransisco. The staff was great about promptly bringing a fan. I can say that the front desk was exceptional! Dow was so kind and helpful.

The decor was lovely, especially in the lobby and breakfast areas. I had some of the most relaxing and rejuvenating sleep I've ever had on a vacation here. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. We did not try the evening sherry because we were too busy seeing the sights of the city.

As it was late on a Saturday evening, we were looking for a hotel to spend the night at. Lucky we found this adorable, victorian style hotel to have a good night sleep before we continued the road trip from Vancouver, Canada to San Diego, CA. The hotel it self was very clean, quaint, and cozy. However, after checkout, on...

We were looking for an inexpensive room that was well located in the city. Queen Anne is very quaint with a comfortable lobby that sports a fire place, free tea and coffee as well as some complimentary hard liquor in the evenings. The rooms have an old world charm to it. It is haunted. I've attached pictures that clearly shows...

We arrived at 2am SF time because our plane was late. They had a room ready for us. What a beautiful surprise this hotel was. It's like staying at a relative's house with ornate furniture and an ever running fireplace. Breakfast was big and included. Eggs, rolls, toast, waffles, oatmeal, coffee. An all day coffee and tea bar. Plus Sherry...

What an excellent property!!! I was so impressed with everything here I can't even tell you!! Well, Everything but the breakfast...not what I would expect from such a nice experience. But...the rooms, lobby, staff...everything else is great and I cannot wait to go back. Every floor has some of the best furnishings I have ever seen.
