Just got back from a three night stay at the Queen Anne. First impression of the front desk after two flights and a cab ride: not the most welcoming, unfortunately. We got in the elevator which had a padded bench and chandelier (very cool) and got to our room. It was a funny old type of key (like a braille...

We have been staying at the Queen Anne for two years on a regular basis. My husband had a kidney transplant and this hotel offers a discount for hospital visits and follow up. Over the years they have become family to us. Everyone there is genuinely kind and considerate. It is also near restaurants and shopping in the Fillmore Dist...

Friends from out of town picked this hotel for a few days' stay. We visited them there & when it came time to pick a place for a luncheon for visiting French relatives (their first experience of San Francisco!), we knew exactly where we wanted to hold it. Fortunately Michael, the events manager, couldn't have been more accommodating. He advised...

The staff were outstanding to our needs. The room although small was furnished with old antique furniture. The bed was clean & very comfortable. We enjoyed the sherry & cookies each night and sitting in the lavish old parlors....you felt like royals! Breakfast consisted of cereals, pastries, bread & bagels, fruit, juice & coffee, hard boiled eggs & sausage. Free...

After staying at another neighborhood hotel on previous trips to the city, I was pleasantly surprised at the Queen Anne. Older property but well maintained, nice staff, good breakfast, clean, spacious room.

This was my first time to San Francisco, I didn't know anything about the city, where to stay etc and found a great deal for this hotel through Expedia. I knew I did not want your standard generic hotel, and I knew that I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel because I knew I would...

What a fantastic hotel and its proprietors! We were treated so nicely by the front desk managers and the concierges, Rita and Roberto. We were initally in a standard queen room but upgraded to a suite after returning form our Yosemite trip. The suite was romantic and was worth the extra money. The Queen Anne is located in a quite...

We were surprisingly delighted with the Hotel and the service. the rooms were very comfortable and well decorated. I was pleased to see that the bathrooms were modernized in...

This hotel was as others have written. Restored Victorian, free breakfast, free Internet and pc in lobby, cookies and sherry in the afternoon. They may have free coffee and tea all day--I'm not sure, but it was there when I went for some. One thing I was not aware of is that they offer free car service in the morning...

I will admit that when I first walked in, I wondered what the heck was going on here. Due to the time of year (around Thanksgiving) every surface was covered in Christmas decorations - very old fashioned ones. It was...like nowhere I had ever stayed before. Then I decided to just go with it, and now I can't imagine staying...
