Hotel's Favourite
Stayed the first week of August and it was really great! Rooms are clean and comfortable, plenty of individual bathrooms throughout, and the staff are super friendly. Lots of fruit, breakfast brioche and coffee for free in the morning! Then there's the picture gallery of Bay area musicians! (I had the CCR room!) Btw I changed my booking from TripAdvisor to direct website and an glad I did because if you book direct they give you free breakfast vouchers for a nice restaurant around the corner, lots of delicious choices! Plus it was a bit cheaper for the room that way. Great location, and you can grab the California Street cable car, just a couple minute walk away, to the Powell Street cable car, down to the wharf. Super fun and easy!

Very convenient staff. Great location in SF, I visited most of the city walking. The kitchen in the room and no common space is the only problem, but the ratio quality/price is great. I would go back there

I stayed at Music City Hotel while working the San Fran festival Outside Lands. The stay was great, the location was really good and close to many sites in San Francisco. The neighborhood itself has lots to do and was pretty active with party goers during Halloween weekend. I enjoyed the room a lot and felt very comfortable. The shared bathroom was very clean and there were plenty of bathrooms available so I never felt I had to wait for a bathroom. As a musician I loved that there was a working electric guitar and amp in my room (Green Day Room). The building has an audio tour showcasing musicians from the bay area. There was a shared microwave and kettle and free coffee and fruit available. TV in the room worked but wasn't connected to anything. No controllable temperature but I felt comfortable my entire stay with the window. Overall I'd recommend this hotel, especially if you're in the area for work or to explore and are a music fan!

Thank you so much for your stay! We are thrilled to learn that you loved the room, neighborhood, amenities, and audio tour, and especially that you rocked out on guitar in the Green Day room :) Our apologies that we missed the issue with the TV, we will address this right away. Thanks again for the feedback!

San Francisco has to do something about the homelessness. Hotel has no common area. Be careful. A theft and death within one week. Long-term guest are very controlling. They literally put me in someone else's bed upon check-in. Once Ms. Shirely was back. She was not nice at all. Very uncomfortable.
