It was a very to be in the city walking distance to everything...we had atom at the end of the hallway and it was very quite with no street noise. Enjoyed the afternoon cookies...we are not big breakfast eaters so it worked out great to grab coffee/tea and toast.

We really enjoyed our visit. We especially enjoyed the fireplace. Our only complaint was our early morning flight left us without being able to eat in the dining room. We had asked for a box breakfast. The communication was poor, so we received a box that was definitely thrown together. The rolls were not in a sandwich baggie. There were...

Very nice hotel, reasonable pricing, very good breakfasts, great atmosphere, very friendly staff. For us the only problem was some low-frequency background noise from behind the walls. Not a problem during daytime, but very anoying during the night. In fact we had problems with falling asleep due to this noise. If this problem was somehow fixed I would give the...

Great and healthy breakfast. Great evening appetizers and wine. Rooms very clean and location fabulous. We enjoyed the cookies in the afternoon. This is just a wonderful San Francisco hotel. Also we enjoyed our walks to the top of Nob Hill. The area had fine restaurants which we very close by.

The room I was given was filthy, blinds were broken, heating didn't work, shower and bathroom had mould everywhere and simply deeply dirty. i was shocked and disgusted as the room was not cheap. I cancelled 3 of the 4 days I booked as there was no way I was going to stay there any longer than necessary.

This is nice small hotel, very convenient for ~1 week visits. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I had no problems with them. Rooms are not large, but are clean and cozy. Breakfast here was the best in comparison with Beresford Arms and Bijou, where I lived before. Very nice feature of this hotel is wine party near fire place....

Nice place. Really good service. Beautiful breakfast. Its a boutique hotel. Bed is very soft. Personal preference would be more supportive bed. Allowed us to leave luggage behind reception and medication in fridge for the day after we checked out.

Petite Auberge is a wonderful small hotel nestled among other building on Nob shill - a great location for accessing public transportation and restaurants. The rooms are charming and when bathroom renovations are complete in the near future, they will provide a cozy place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The delightful living room space, with...

Pretty poor overall. Peeling paint and moldy grout in the tiny bathroom. Sagging bed, no heating and cooling and flimsy comforter in the tiny bedroom. Cleaning showed up at 5 pm as we were dressing for dinner and couldn't wait 10 minutes as we finished-so no cleaning. Musak wafting all night from the hallway. Had to check in at sister...

Loved the twin hotels: side by side. Large comfortable bed and a good sized room. Lots of street noise, though as I was in the front and footsteps of the folks above seemed very close. That said, these are terrific value hotels
