Friendly and welcoming staff.
Vintage style hotel with a beautiful electronic fireplace. My bed was SO comfortable too!
Extremely convenient walk to Starbucks, Walgreens, Powell Street Station and Union Square.
Thank you for having me Petite Auberge!
It was an experience staying in such a property. Right from location, to check in process to comfort of the room everything was perfect. The breakfast was very nice, but the surprise was that we had unlimited wine and evening snacks from 5pm- 7pm and...More
I enjoyed the stay and I was do happy when I got to know location was apt as well as was offered unlimited wine, soda and water during my stay. Would recommend to stay here if visiting san Francisco. Thanks
The location is quite good and this is a good plus for this place. Room was clean but with old furniture and cabinets that are not very useful. Yes - breakfast is included but nothing fabulous. Happy hours is not so bad as it is...More
You aren't going to get luxury here but it is a fun place to stay. Claw foot tubs and antique furnishings add to the ambience. Each floor has prints from a different artist so be sure to walk around and look at all the artwork....More

Originally home to rallies supporting the Union Army in the Civil War, this grand square has become the city's premier shopping and entertainment district containing the largest number of upscale department stores, chic boutiques, art galleries and theatres in the city. It's a large open area where tourists and locals gather, watch cable cars and crowds go by, enjoy a snack, or plan their day of shopping and
sightseeing, If feeling the pulsating energy of the city is on your agenda, Union Square is the place to soak it in.

My husband and I have been returning to this hotel for over ten years and we always enjoy the breakfast buffet. Each day the hot breakfast is a little different, but includes an egg dish and link or patty sausage or bacon. Boiled eggs are an option every morning as well. Oatmeal is freshly made each morning (not sure what the other reviewer's complaint was...my oatmeal was perfect 4 mornings in a row last week) condiments include brown sugar, syrup, 2 types of jam, butter, yogurt & cottage cheese to compliment the hot cereal. There are two kinds of cold cereal with milk, fresh fruit, a variety of pastries and croissants, and two kinds of sliced bread that you can pop in the toaster. My coffee was PIPING hot every morning, both regular and decaf. There is also a wide variety of tea and piping hot water (which is available 24/7). For a small boutique hotel, I think this all-you-can-eat breakfast is exceptional, and the cozy environment adds the enjoyment. Add to it the afternoon wine social and you've got yourself a great value.
