The lobby is small and simple but with excellent staff who is accommodating and polite. I was amazed by its elevator, which is an old style manual door back in the 60's. The room is small, but enough for you to move around and park your luggage. Its complete with amenities and oh.. the bed, so soft and comfortable. The...

Loved the look and decor of the hotel it had a classic american feel to it. Very clean and well kept room, the bed in particular was very comfy. Free wifi which was a nice touch and the complimentary breakfast on offer was very nice. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Don't be put off if your ride from the airport takes you via the Tenderloin district en-route to this hotel. The Nob Hill Hotel is a real gem located on the cusp of Nob Hill and Tenderloin (the locals call it the tender nob area, which has a totally different connotation to a brit). The hotel is quirky and charming...

Surrounding hotels are over twice the rate. Nice room. Well maintained hotel. Courteous staff. The antique elevator adds to the experience. This is a hotel that holds the earth quake era style and appearance while being modern, clean and convenient to the Knob Hill area. We recommend it frequently. The parking rate is less than if you park your own...

Well located hotel, easy to find and not far from the cable cars which was a bonus with all the hills! Check not until 3pm but hotel happy to store luggage while we went sightseeing. Hotel clean, staff friendly. Bathroom was very clean and there were lots of towels and pillows provided. We would stay here again.

We booked this hotel for our anniversary. There was mold everywhere. Elevator does not have an automatic door. The room & hotel were NOTHING like the photos. We chose the best room in the place. Gross!

A friend and I shared a room for the California Dental Convention. Rooms are very pricey at that time. We were glad to find something that when shared wasn't super high. The $40 parking.....well.....that's just SF. The room itself was small, but wow the bathroom!

As soon as you walk in through the door the musty smell that greets you is consistent with the decor of the hotel. Gaudy bright pink chandelier in the lobby just about says it all until you use the lift which resembles something from the dark ages. The one saving grace was the large comfy bed amidst the dark depressing...

The hotel has a good location and most of the room are good. Had a small room but still ok. Room at the front but not a noisy street so not to worry about it. Spend there two nights.. free coffee in the lobby.

We stayed here for three nights last month, and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. OK, so hotels in San Francisco are expensive- but you expect to get something that even resembles value for money, or remotely decent accommodation standards. The hotel is very run-down; shabby carpets and walls, random pieces of worn furniture, curtain holders protruding randomly from...
