Great value for a great location! Rooms are big and spacious, bathroom is a great size. All rooms come with free wifi which is fantastic, and there is free parking (which we didn't need). If you don't have a car you can catch a bus right at the front or you can walk the short walk to Fisherman's Wharf. Additionally...

While some of the furniture is dated, the rooms were recently updated, comfortable with new beds and flat screen TVs. Has free wi-fi. Our room did not have a microwave or refrigerator which would have been nice. But rooms are a great value. We had a great stay and will go back for sure. The only reason for not an...

We stayed here for 2 nights with 3 adults and 2 kids, booking a suite with a separate queen bed and a king/rollaway bed in the main room. The room was plenty big enough for the 5 of us and one of the quietest rooms we've stayed in in a big city. We had room 313 and even though the...

We stayed here for 6 nights in a two room suite. This was perfect for our family of 4, as the kids had their own bedroom with 2 queen beds, and our bedroom was a queen and had a balcony too. It was a really nice suite, with a great view (rm 315). We could see Alcatraz, Coit tower and...

We stayed here two nights and have zero regrets about the place. It is very close to the wharf, cable cars, dining and any place you might want to be. There is no continental breakfast but there is a great diner (Pat's) one block east. Go up to the roof and enjoy the view. Room 309 was clean, comfortable and...

My wife and I are form the Napa Valley and wanted to do a "Staycation" in the City(SF). After some research and advice from friends we found Columbus Motor Inn. For that location, in the middle of North Beach and Fishermans wharf this place was a steal. The Inn itself is an older building, but very clean and well maintained....

Not the best place but it works. The rooms are big and clean. The staff wasn't very friendly tho. Our room was just in front of the Indian restaurant/Pub and it was quite noisy at night + some people had like a party or something like that inside the hotel so it was like we were with them in the...

Staying in Russian Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Russian Hill
Russian Hill has evolved into a chic residential neighborhood with outstanding views from every corner. Combined with several great cafes, restaurants, antique shops and boutiques, it’s easy to see why any visitor would gladly leave their heart in San Francisco. Cars line up day after day to drive down Lombard Street, the “crookedest” street in the world, and make the slow creep downhill past charming period homes. Polk Street is the main drag in this neighborhood, where you will find trendy bars, cafes and shops populated with locals, but for one of the most charming rides in the city, grab a cable car heading up and down Hyde Street.
