For a downtown location on short notice, it was a good price. The area itself is a little sketchy and the exterior of the property a little uninviting, but once I got into the room I was surprised by the large mini-fridge and microwave, and the great internet connection. And a waffle-making machine in the breakfast room! Yum! Will be...

This is a BUDGET hotel, no frills expected. Nevertheless, a hote,l in all cases, provides a service. Someone needs to train the 20-something dude that checked me in & remind him that he isn't bestowing his time and amenities upon the lowly minions that enter, hand outstretched, seeking alms! He was condescending, ill trained & while I was plainly within...

everything was adequate. a good place if you just want a decent place to stay in SF for a decent price. parking is only $15 per 24 hours, which is a bargain in SF. The parking lot had some questionable activity, but no one bothered us and we felt safe enough.

I traveled here as a part of my cross country trip from New York to Washington state. The place was sketchy from the beginning. But I was tired after driving from San Diego. I woke up to my car being broken into and several transients and strange people coming up to my vehicle while I was trying to get a...

I tried booking on different websites for 4 people and every rate was for pretty much 2 people and I would still have to pay extra for additional people(wtf?) also, I paid 85.00 for 2 queens and got 2 fulls. I was told that they didn't have queens(websites all listed queens) This place charges 17.25 to park. We left to...

Drug dealing in motel car park right outside my ground floor window !! Creepy characters coming on and off property all night. Room was dirty and smelt like mold !!...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
