Did I say great location? This location is perfect to get anywhere. The hotel is very nice as well, clean and great staff. Concierge club is great for a full breakfast to start your day and if you have a big lunch you can have a light meal for dinner. PS - to get around use Uber it is the...

We stayed at the Marriott Union Square for 3 nights in San Fran and it was the perfect place to be. We were in the heart of the downtown and great shopping. Union square park was a great place to sit and have a cup of coffee or a beer. It was an easy 3 block walk to the beginning...

Where do I begin... Fantastic located hotel right in the heart of Union Square, great bar area and restaurant with good food. The hotel is well placed for "catching the Trolly" tram bus to travel up and over the fantastic bumpy roads made famous in San Fran.. Easy access to China town to shop and taste the amazing dumplings.... The...

The hotel is enormous. I think that it has 1,500 rooms. Already going up to your room you feel it since you have to select between 3 different elevator towers, each with six separate elevators. The size of the hotel makes it somewhat impersonal. The decoration is also a bit old fashioned. Having saud this, the service is impecable and...

Thank you for your feedback. Based on your comments about the size of the hotel, it appears you stayed at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis (versus the smaller Marriott Union Square). I will pass along to the team at that hotel. Sincerely, Oscar R. General Manager

Stayed two nights. Valet parking only which I hate. Staff was fine. Location is excellent. Not much of a lobby. Room was fine but the Marquis is vastly superior. Did not try the restaurant. Okay but not sure we will return. Lots of SF options that I like better.

Thank you for staying with us and providing comments about your stay. I appreciate the feedback about our staff and location. I apologize that valet parking is the only option at this location. This is because the hotel does not own or operate a garage (or receive any revenue from the valet company). Thank you again for choosing our hotel....

Enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Union Square. Bathrooms are small, but rooms are clean and staff was excellent. Great location for site seeing in San Francisco. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are clean and modern. The beds are amazing. We rented two rooms for a family of 7 traveling through CA. The food in the bar restaurant was great. The hotel is very clean which is a priority for me when traveling. The rooms are a little on the smaller size since...

We booked 2 nights at the Marriott Union Square to meet friends for a weekend using Marriott Points. As a Platinum member, I am used to how Marriotts are so my expectations are grounded. We arrived via Car on a Friday afternoon. The Valet man showed up quickly and we advised I was just performing a drop of my bags...

The hotel is very nice and for us it was conveniently located. It has an attentive staff that kept me well informed on the status of our two rooms when we arrived a little earlier than check-in time; exactly what i'd expect from a JW Marriott. The concierge lounge and the views from it are as nice as has been...

This hotel is well located and I thought that their service was excellent. The bellmen and the front desk staff were helpful, friendly, and very nice - and the gentleman at the front desk never failed to call me by name. The rooms have safes - not large enough for laptops, but large enough for iPads, and wifi worked fine....
