I just stayed at the Casa Loma Hotel for two nights during a recent visit to San Francisco. First, the PROS: a large clean room with two (albeit prison-sized) twin beds and a sink (very clean toilets and showers down the hall -- as advertised); nice front desk people; free gourmet coffee in reception; great WiFi; good location. Now, the...

Great location for us...the reception staff super helpful, the only downside was our room was onto the centre of the building and We had to keep the blind closed so other rooms couldnt look in. Would've prefered a street view. Coffee was superb! A short walk to Haight Asbury

As an avid traveler, this hotel met my needs, but I find a list of pros and cons is more beneficial to other travelers. I will say though that I was seriously impressed by the value for the price, considering the location: Pros: 1 block from the bus station for #21, which takes you downtown one way and to the...

I stayed at the Casa Loma hotel for only 1 night, as i came to SF to see a concert. I arrived to the hotel a bit before check in time and the room was already ready for me. The hotel location was great for me, very close to the civic center. They are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes...

Stayed at the Casa Loma for 4 nights. We stayed in a double room with sink and fridge, however shared toilets and shower rooms with other guest on our floor. The room and recption area were very clean. There was drinks machine which was free to use and plenty of tourist maps and info available. Hotel staff were polite and...

Very nice and clean place. Free coffee machine that you can use any time and touristic guides at the reception. Very cozy place, friendly staff. I've stayed there in February, 2016, the price was good

My partner and I stayed for one night in August before flying home, purely for the location. Reviews mention the noise and the availability of ear plugs from reception but I couldn't have imagined just how noisy it was. Many reviews start with how lovely the staff are and it's true but this isn't enough for me to stay here...

Not sure about this place before we arrived, but it was a lovely, quiet, clean and true-to-San Francisco experience. The front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly. With their help, we used to 22 bus line to get around to all venues we wanted to visit and avoided expensive cab rides. Will definitely stay again.

We didn't realise how expensive accommodation in San Francisco is and was surprised about the type of accommodation available to us within our budget. After a lot of research we chose Casa Loma! Firstly, the hotel customer service was fantastic. The reception is manned 24 hours a day and the staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too...

It's a quiet zone, so you don't have to deal with all the junkies that are all over San Francisco. It's not a luxurious hotel but it's the best you can get in San Francisco for this low prices. The staff is very helpful, the room and bathrooms are clean. There's also a coffee machine that you can use for...
