Pros; location, pool, wifi
Cons: overpriced, small bathroom, breakfast is just pastries, paid parking, horrible ac.

My husband and I spent 9 nights in this place in May. The only reason we lasted that long is because we were silly enough to pay upfront., I was under the impression that by paying up front, we got a better rate. Looking back...More
Location is great. Room is relatively spacious for 2 guests, but if you can book somewhere else, with better rates , do so. I find this hotel over priced, old and needs a lot of improvement. First, you have to carry your luggages a few...More
Russian Hill has evolved into a chic residential neighborhood with outstanding views from every corner. Combined with several great cafes, restaurants, antique shops and boutiques, it’s easy to see why any visitor would gladly leave their heart in San Francisco. Cars line up day after day to drive down Lombard Street, the “crookedest” street in the world, and make the slow creep downhill past charming period
homes. Polk Street is the main drag in this neighborhood, where you will find trendy bars, cafes and shops populated with locals, but for one of the most charming rides in the city, grab a cable car heading up and down Hyde Street.

Thank you for your question! Yes, the pool is heated. We normally will turn off the heat during night time after the fitness center is closed for energy saving and turn back on the heat in the morning.
