We just returned home from a five-day stay. What a great find! Fantastic staff, comfortable beds and pillows with excellent linens. Perfect central location from which to explore San Francisco. Easy access to cable cars, Uber or Lyft. The complementary breakfast buffet as well as the afternoon happy hour are first class. We are already looking forward eagerly to our... More

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 26 July 2016

We heard about Marine Memorial from a friend and are so thankful we did. Immediately impressed by the atmosphere walking in the front door. I was distracted by the displays while my boyfriend checked us in. Thank you to the staff, members and owners for making this a special, unique experience! Don't bypass the memorials and checkout the theater on... More

We have been members and stayed here for 46 years. It is a San Francisco favorite. Location is perfect near Union Square and the Theater District. Located near many fine restaurants including a very good steakhouse on the top floor. Most rooms have recently been renovated and are comfortable and clean. Rooms are a great value compared to nearby hotels.... More

We only stay here at the MMClub when we stay in San Francisco. It has beautiful rooms, clean and comfortable. We love paying respects to the Marines and other service men & women at the Memorial on the 11th floor for those who gave their all for our Country. On the 12th floor the restaurant that serves excellent food and... More

A friendly, shipshape hotel, just off Union Square. The staff is friendly and helpful. My room was clean and well lighted. WiFi was free, as was Happy Hour and an amazing buffet breakfast with a great view of San Francisco and the bay. There is a restaurant on the top floor with a great steak dinner. Military and retired military... More

We stay nowhere else in San Francisco. This classy hotel is also a museum of our armed forces -- take time to explore it and the cozy library. The spacious suites are newly updated and have fireplaces. The top floor Leatherneck Steakhouse is terrific and the views are spectacular! The meeting rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. Breakfast and cocktails... More

I was very surprised when this club popped up on a hotel web site. It is only a block away from the pricey and should I say overpriced hotels on union square. I took a chance and I was very glad that I did. Service is excellent, they even call you sir. Includes full breakfast and happy hour for no... More

Member, an Irish reviewer stated that the hotel is a charity military hotel. This is absolutely false. It is a private club for active duty and veterans. I happen to be a member. Non members are allowed to stay here. For members it is a fantastic bargain. I believe that non members receive a good room rate for San Francisco,... More

Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast, nice location close to Union Square. Good cocktail. There is no self parking, but you can get one really close to the hotel, (no problem for us). I would stay here again.
