Location was really good (very close to Union Sq and cable car passed close by), room and bathroom were comfortable (but fairly basic), staff were helpful, room was clean. Parking almost opposite. Wifi good. Great diners and restaurants nearby including Lori's.

Bags can be stored in the lobby and will be tied up with a bike lock style chain. Would be worth making sure your bags are padlocked aswell. Very helpful front house staff

We took the BART and get off at Powell station, then walk up a steep hill. If you are not used to walking hills and have lots of luggage, then the shuttle or taxi will be better choice.
