Dear Club Quarters, I would like to compliment Liz for taking care of me in my stay in San Francisco. I had a very long day and wanted nothing more then to relax and enjoy this wonderful city. Little did Liz know that I needed a little extra TLC concerning many things in my life that work has helped escape,...

We were very happy with Club Quarters. We walked to restaurants both nights we were there and walked to the Ferry Plaza Market on Saturday. It was a long walk to Union Square but very doable. The parking at Embarcadero Garage was convenient.

Great place, good location to major attractions in San Francisco. Great restaurant on premise. The room a bit small for multiple guests. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this hotel to others.

Andy P; Thank you for your recommendation. We are happy that you liked us and pointed out that some of our rooms, Club size and Standard size, are better suited for one person. Although, we have had plenty of guests state that it was great for them as all they did was explore the city or attend work. Needless to...

This property is a few blocks from BART, steps from the California St cable car, near lots of bus lines and Chinatown, and practically next door to the Ferry Bldg. Ideal for business (and a block from my mother's apartment). Checkin is automated and reliable, with excellent staff backup. Rooms are small (think Paris) but clean and adequately appointed. Good...

The location is great. Close to many things and in a good area. But, we were put in the wrong room type. We were changed to another room, but it had issues also. We could clearly hear our neighbors talking. Maid service did not usually happen until around 5 pm. We were supposed to have a sofa bed- one reason...

Bathroom is small and filty, decor is old and dated, TV was not working, staff was of no help. The bed was lumpy. No blankets just a duvet cover for a blanket. Towels look dirty. Price was very expensive the only thing that's going for it is the location it was close to the water.

There is a great view from the roof terrace. Views of the bay and the bay bridge lights. We had dinner at the Wayfair Tavern and was delicious. Seems like a very special place for locals too. Not touristy.

The price and location were major draws for the time I stayed here. It is quite close to Fishermans wharf and also close to the Westfield mall. About usd7 to usd8 either way on Uber. good location with close shopping parking is across the street in the mall parking lot. you room was only appointed for one person (one face towel one coffee cup). Charged me $20 for my wife to share the room, but compared to other hotels in the area this is a good option.

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
