We were looking forward to five nights at this hotel after a brilliant time in LA at the Vdara. We could not believe Room 711 facing a brick wall through one window and a rooftop through the other. On entering the room we were hit with a strong musty smell due to green damp in corner of room and a...

A few blocks from Union Square, a cable car stop, restaurants and a reasonable cab ride from Fisherman's Wharf ($12). Attentive staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed, high quality soap/shampoo products; a good value in SF.

We had a great 1 night stay at Hotel Adagio. The location is great - a short walk to the Ferry building (where we rented bikes for the day). Also, very convenient to rent an Avis rental car as their location is right behind the hotel.

We booked this hotel about 6 months in advance and got a great rate of $239 a night including tax. That appears to be cheaper than what a lot of people have been paying. This was for a larger room, I think it was called a 'Grand', it was one up from the base room anyway. We spent 4 nights...

Kind of funny that this is billed by Marriott as a luxury hotel. It isn't. But the staff is great, as is the location. Rooms are ok, but not clean enough. Our bathroom had a dirty shower curtain and mould in the grout. The breakfasts were wonderful and generous.

Easy location for an overnight or two on the way to or from Napa or Sonoma when flying from the East Coast. Perfectly situated to dine and shop, all within walking distance. Recently renovated hotel. Rooms and service were fine. Valet parking available.

My stay at the Hotel Adagio was paired with a large conference in the city. I was there for 5 nights. The aesthetic of the hotel with it's whimsical high-backed furniture, and colors was a refreshing change of pace in comparison to much of the San Francisco historical architecture. Upon check in (I was early and unfortunately ill) my room...

Everything here was well done, from the decor to the quality of the service to the comfy beds. It's expensive, but so is everything in SF. It's a good investment. We enjoyed Mortimers for happy hour and a night cap after the show. Only did breakfast once but it was great.

Located in a great spot for seeing the city, although can be a bit ropey late at night. Looked to have been recently partially refurbished, some things like the plaster, wallpaper, light switches and windows are original which does let the overall feel of the rooms down slightly. Valet parking is $50+ tax per evening, which we thought was extremely...

Dear ChrisL, Thank you for the feedback. I’m so glad that you enjoyed our location to all things fun in San Francisco, our area is one of homeless, as most of downtown areas tend to lean towards. They are concentrated in Union Square area, as this is where most of the tourists tend to be and thus getting money. It...
