As everything within a reasonable price range (for SF) was booked because of the World Cup, we ended up at the Aida because it was on Market Street (easy transportation) and had 2 doubles with bathroom available. Surprisingly, it was pleasant enough if you're OK...More

Please save your money! Without telling you about the hotel even, it's a bad area. All surrounding buildings are boarded up and an insane amount of homeless people cover the street. One foot inside you will see the carpets are never vacuumed or anything dusted....More

The bed was clean. Go to the mosser hotel on the corner of Ross it's cheaper and everything looks good is clean and you have great service. The room looked terribly depressing and there was blood in the sink.

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
