that could be found through world wide web in San Francisco. However the quality of accomodation is not even close to two stars declared. The rooms are tiny, two-floored beds are shaky, which really felt when person above or below you is moving, rooms are tiny, not even a hook to handle some closes, some rooms are very cold in...

For the cheap price, no high expectation. Guest house look a bit oldies with carpet. Bed linen is ok, Just the bed rack is not so stable whereby go for the upper rack will cause shake. So I change faster to the lower rack after the traveler check out. Bathroom is limited & no separate on male/female, have to queue...

I have stayed in a lot of hostels and this one wasn't the worst I guess. There were used bandages on the windowsill, chip crumbs all over the floor, the cleaning lady ran a vacuum through 4 swipes and left. The kicker though, I received a bite on my leg and just figured it was a spider or something. I've...

If you're looking for a dirty accommodation in a dangerous area, you're in the right place. Bed linen are stained, when not perforated. I don't recommend to walk there at night. At least it's cheap... but if you can, stay away form it.

No major complaints. Compared to the prices in San Francisco, this place is cheap, so don't expect luxury. The rooms are basic. A nice thing if you're traveling alone is that you can book a bed from two bed dorm room, which is a nice compromise of price and privacy. There's enough space for two people's stuff, and enough electricity...

This place is located in the heart of SF yet it offers an accommodation at a reasonable price!! $28 for a dorm bed is the best deal u can get in this city. The people at the front desk are courteous and polite. The roof terrace is one of the highlights of this place where u can go and chill...

I wanted to purposely find a hostel in San Fran and this place fit the bill. They have no private rooms; minimum is two beds in a room with up to six. Beds are bunk style. All bathrooms and showers are shared but can only be used by one guest at a time. You could rent a entire room for...

Tiny room for six beds, no lockers for big luggages, just two bathrooms per floor (one of them was with no light and the other was with its toilet clogged). It's located downtown, close to the city hall, and close to many stores and restaurants, easy to get good places in San Francisco. The staff was friendly.

Stayed at the European Guest House in July 2015, I really don't have much to say about the hotel, the entry is guarded with a passcoded door so you will need to make note of the code the reception staff give you, the shared bathroom can be a bit of an issue. The room that we stayed in wouldn't have...

This was THE most terrifying and disgusting hostel I have stayed in. My flight was delayed and when I landed in SF I see an email saying my booking had been cancelled and that I had been charged - start to panic a bit so I call Up reception - they inform me that I missed check in and that...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
