I do a lot of business trips and prefer any BnB to Hotel when they are as nice as the Parsonage. When you enjoy your breakfast and read the newspaper of the day, that's the point where you are going to feel like being home....More

I can't imagine better accommodations. Sweet hosts, Joan and John, their house, the furnishings, the location, the breakfasts, the cheerfulness, the helpfulness; even the other guests and the dog of the house, Pilar: all delightful. I write this review somewhat reluctantly as things this good...More

This is a great homely place to stay. It's close to Haight shopping/food, Market St with the trams and good shopping, and in the middle of everything. Joan (the matron of the house) is amazingly accommodating and welcoming to all your needs/requests. We knew the...More

Chock full of designer boutiques, art galleries, funky
shoe stores, and great restaurants, it’s hard to
imagine Hayes Valley once languished in the shadow of
a major freeway. Its removal allowed for the creation
of an attractive boulevard on Octavia Street with a
community park at its center and dozens of trendy
businesses to satisfy visitors looking for a stylish
          respite.

I'm not sure if children are allowed. It's best to contact Joan or John at The Parsonage.

Is there any parking on site? An elevator?

Yes, we have an elevator. There are reasonably priced garages within a few blocks. Street parking works well evenings and weekends.
