My wife stayed at the InterContinental for a work event which was going on at the Moscone Center which is literally 10 steps from their door. For that alone it’s worth staying there - but there’s many reasons I highly recommend this hotel.
I’m a frequent guest of the Intercontinental, but my only review was rather negative due to a singular incident and I decided it was time to revisit. I do love this property. While not the most luxurious, the quality is reliable and the service level...More

Feels like any other non-luxury Intercon, with a quietly decorated, well appointed room and bathroom. Pluses were how absolutely huge the room felt for SF, and how nice the lobby was. Also features a very nice gym. No complaints at all. But not a luxury...More
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
