This hotel is conveniently located (particularly close to Market Street and the conference center). My room had a spectacular view with floor-to-ceiling windows and was very spacious. Staff was very courteous and helpful with the little things a business traveler needs. All in-room facilities were of high standard, well maintained and well planned in the first place (i.e. things like...

Great desk staff. I had reserved a king suite and was asked if I could move into a double queen room to "help them out". I had no problem doing that, and was given free drink coupons for their bar. Check out was easy and the gentleman made me feel like I was a valued customer. Treated with great customer...

We just returned from a week in SFO and wine country that started with a stay at the Intercontinental San Fran. It could not have been any better in all areas. Every staff member we encountered area was extremely friendly and could not have been more helpful, they clearly take pride in what they are doing. The room was beautiful,...

Right a two blocks from the heart of the downtown, big rooms, nice beds, huge bathroom, I love this hotel because around there you have everything you need, while you are in San Francisco. But since it is surrounded by completely empty ladmarks (like convention center) at nights walking late seems to be dangerous. I love this location too because...

Umbilically-connected to Moscone Center for conferences. Spacious rooms, largely impersonal, but excellent bedding. Wi-Fi strong. Staff well trained - impressively proactive. You won't fall in love, but you won't be let down here.

I had my reservations coming to this hotel based on some reviews here. I booked my stay through Hotwire and was awarded this hotel. I stayed here for two nights during a recent conference. The room was more than adequate, the staff friendly and welcoming and the facilities well maintained. I had a good stay. The restaurant and downstairs pub provided good food, fast service and a calm, clean setting. I'd stay there again.

I really liked this hotel. Check in was really easy, customer service was good, the lobby is attractive, the bed is comfy. The best thing about this hotel, though, is the food. Lots of local and organic options, and they have 24 hour room service! I holed up in my room snacking and snoozing. This place is a little more...

This is a beautiful hotel with great service and great location. We stayed with our 2 kids (14 & 10) and they loved it! It was a short walk to mass transit. Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
