We stayed at this hotel whilst getting married at City hall for 5 nights 3 weeks ago and the hotel was great. I had contacted one of the managers (Hizkia) before staying to ask if they could decorate our room as a surprise for my now wife. The request was noted and we were treated like royalty by all staff...

Recent stay was weekend pleasure trip. We had a high floor with amazing views on the city and bay beyond. Location was great for shopping and perfect if attending a conference right next door to Moscone. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the morning ... great skylights make it very bright. The bed was so comfy I would...

Not a bad property but as a top tier hotel experience a bit disappointing. The hotel is geared toward convention travelers and you can see that in its presentation. The biggest transgression is the security guards. I understand that it's not in the greatest neighborhood but the hotel should be trying to do things to help the community nearby not...

I stayed here using Priority Club points. We received a deluxe corner room on the 25th floor, which was great. The room was spacious, bigger than what I've stayed in at the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins (also in SF). Everything was new and clean. This will likely be my family's go-to hotel for trips to the city.

The hotel is beautiful and our experience with the staff was pleasant. We did not visit the restaurant or bar so I cannot comment on them. The positives were that the views were great from the 30th floor, the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the concierge was helpful. The negatives include being outrageously charged for valet parking...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
