Where do I start! 1. It's not Knights Inn 2. The room had smashed windows that were taped back up. These were right next to the fire escape so really, really safe! 3. The site I booked on there was a continental breakfast. They offered juice and coffee in the office! 4. There was no hot water in the shower...

This is not named Knights Inn it's the Alpha Inn. We were given room 225 OMG it was awful as soon as you stepped in the room it smelt terrible, damp and musty. We stayed here 3 nights and we really liked the place. The room is simple but big enough with fridge and a big bathroom. The location is very good- there are many places to eat nearby, gas stations and supermarket. The public bus is just 5 minutes walk and the public transportation is probably the most comfortable way to travel...

At check in, we walked to the glass door opened by a buzzer and were told our actual building wasn't the Knights Inn but actually the Alpha Inn down the street. When we got to the Alpha Inn, we thought it looked nice because of the parking, heated pool, and welcoming manager. Those were the only good things about the...

I decided wanted clam chowder instead of Chik Fil A so i ventured off to SF. This is what my husband was able to get me. From the time I checked in, it was such a good experience. The elder which checked me in/out was such a nice sweet man. Not much English, but enough to get by. I was...

It rained and inside the entrance to the lobby was a HUGE leak from the ceiling (mold from prior leaking) pooling up on the floor. The carpet was super wet from the leak. Our room had no heat and it was cold, the hair dryer in our room did not work, the box spring to our bed had all of...

The room did smell so we sprayed air freshener and left the windows open for a while and that helped. Good location. Towels quite worn. At least clean but in need of major freshening and/or renovation especially if paying $150 per night.

First of all: The place is not called Knights Inn. 2505 Lombard Street is called Alpha Inn and Suits. I don't know why it is advertised as a Knights Inn! But anyways, the place is really awful in general! The room was dirty and smelled terrible. Towels and bedsheets were partly ripped. The bed gave us the worst backaches ever....

When we booked this room, it was a Knights Inn, but the sign said Alpha when we checked in. We booked and paid for a king with continental breakfast, wifi, fridge, and microwave. We got a queen with no breakfast and no microwave. We had to step over and around dirty linens that were on the hallway floor to get...

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
