I have arrived Hotel earlier time before checking time , but hotel front staff could check availability of the room, and could allow me to check in. Also he could make arrangement shuttle bus for next day early in the morning to Airport. Thanks to his support, I could leave my suitcase in the room earlier time and enjoy rest... More

This is a vintage SF hotel that has been modernized. The room was quite small - a queen sized bed with about four feet on three sides of it. The internet ad said "shared bathroom". I expected an adjoining BR with another room on the other side. No! There is one toilet stall and a separate small shower stall at... More

First, we would like to apologize for the confusion. Our "shared bathrooms" are rooms that have bathrooms that are seperate from the rooms. Rooms with the adjoined bathrooms are the family connector rooms. These rooms are usually larger than simply the standard or the room that you booked, the economy rooms. We are glad that the decor was to your... More

It's a sympathetic - old building hotel but very noisy. It's clean enough , good free wifi at the best location in town. There are several places arround for breakfast. One of the best cheap and tasty is "Central coffee".

Stayed in one of their deluxe rooms but you wouldn't say it was deluxe, it was very bland more like a cell. The bed was comfortable though and shower was good although it did soak the whole bathroom due to loose fitting Well located though if you want to be near Union Square and Macy's

Our hotel is known for its prime location just a block and a half away from union square. We are very sorry the deluxe room was not to your liking. We consider these rooms to be very spacious and roomy. I am very sorry about the shower getting water over the bathroom floor. If we had more information then we... More

The hotel is located very Close to union Square, many shops and restaurant. We had a double bed economy room with shared bathrooms. The rate was great for us and the shared bathrooms were kept very clean. Because it was very hot in the room we had to keep the window open all night and we found the area very... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us, your opinion and comments are greatly appreciated. Unfortunately the area around the hotel is bustling at night time. It generates much traffic from the neighboring shops and attraction, namely Union Square and the Powell cable car stop. If the noise is a big issue, then requesting a room... More

From the first welcome to help on leaving luggage on our departure the staff were wonderful. The rooms were great and good value for money. Right in the center of the city yet quiet, comfortable clean bedrooms and bathrooms. All you needed and at a good price. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

“Some street noise so you might not want to leave the window open if it's warm, but turn overhead fan up to high and the room is a comfortable temperature. ”

“We really liked it. For a budget hotel I highly recommend it. Rooms are available both with and without private bathrooms. Just as previously reported, it is very clean and attractive, in a great location, right next to the trolley cars and near BART, and an easy walk to the waterfront market. The room was a little hot at night with no AC, and a little noisy outside to have the window open at night. We would definitely stay here again.”
